audrey hepburn would be a good guess! i can definitely see that, but i also like to believe that appearance never truly mattered to him. i don't think he has many preferences other than for his boundaries to be respected, don't try to change him because he likes what and who he is, and don't expect anything from him!

certain comments people sometimes leave under my posts make me go back and edit said post and frantically over explain certain things when it's very obvious what i really meant, it's exhausting.

i've seen a couple people talking about how alastor isn't "the perfect feminist", and obviously i agree—however, only to some degree. he certainly wouldn't hesitate to kill a woman (in the mortal world) if need be. though in the same breath, he's more reluctant to kill women than men.

adding on to that, in the pilot episode, we see him very clearly slap vaggie on the ass and then tell her to smile. i think that's where people get the 'alastor isn't a feminist!' thing from

but we also have to remember that his tolerance and exceptions for women most definitely stem from the time and era he lived in, where women hardly had any rights. much like him as a man of color! also, if we're going by the headcanon where he was most definitely a mama's boy and his dad was absent, i think the way his mother would've raised him to respect women also played into it quite a bit!

that said, i do in some sense agree that he (very obviously) isn't the 'perfect feminist', however, i do still mostly view him a a feminist in general.

side note; obviously i know people of color were treated worse than just women in general. i quite literally just got a comment saying "you must be white", so i felt the need to clarify.

i am unequivocally obsessed with the way that @kuronekoartsblog draws alastor. that's literally how i picture him whenever i write for human alastor. he's just so.. mmmm

just the thought of alastor's fingers reallyyyy gets me going.. freaky though incoming, but walk with me please.

i just thoroughly enjoy the thought of alastor abruptly shoving his fingers in your mouth to shut you up. or if you simply have an oral fixation and it soothes you to suck on them.

alastor himself is a freak, in every sense of the word and i stand by that, so i truly don't think he'd find it all that appalling (when it comes to the right person, of course)

a bit of a self-indulgent post but i love the concept that alastor would be peacefully playing the piano in your shared home while you're cleaning up the kitchen. and then when you're done, he gestures for you to come to him with a crook of his finger. when you do, he'll place a hand on your hip, coaxing you to perch on his thigh.

while you're sitting there with him, he'll ask you about what you had done all day while he was off at the radio station. throughout the conversation, he'll absentmindedly play different tunes; dexterous, gifted fingers gliding across the keys with such grace.

every now and then his lips will press to your temple or to your cheekbone, sharp nose nudging your skin in a near-playful manner. and then at some point that will lead to him sitting in his armchair by the fireplace, you sitting on the floor before him as he plays with your hair, listening to you ramble on with gossip about a conversation you overheard between two old ladies at the market.
