Today my mom was singing Mirza Ghalib's most famous ghazal, "yeh na thi humari qismat" (This was not our destiny). I said her "Let me record " and she replied "I won't let you record. I know you'll post it on your Tumblr and your friends will laugh at my voice." 😆After a lot of persuasion she finally agreed. Please ignore my strange voice, I have cold.😅

The United States is a dictatorship. The United States is homophobic. But everyone can easily see that bombing random United States civilians would not solve the problem. The civilians you bomb could easily be people who oppose Trump and the tyranny he's committing.

And the same is true in other countries. Why do people assume that an entire country is tyrannical or bigoted just because the government is? Many of the civilians are victims of those policies and actively oppose them, just like how it is here.
