So with voting do you cum when a person get bitten into or when a person is swallowed or does it depend on the moment
usually you just mark a ballot with a pen or you select the candidate you want on a screen. sometimes you hole punch the ballot though

I was thinking of a pride art challenge people could do with their OCs, because I thought it'd be cute! A queer/trans artist with their creations.
but then I realised that same challenge would be infinitely more funny with folks who have atypical or horror OCs
The sheer energy. The beauty of this woman. The women hugging in the background. The man in rainbow parachute pants. This whole video is art.

the nebulous categorizing of persians as white or not is genuinely driving me insane rn bc like. i dont want to try to play at or win the oppression olympics nor am i trying to say that im oppressed like actual brown/black people are bc im not, but at the same time americans claiming that persians are white and that *i'm* white as a mixed individual feels really demeaning/degrading bc my experience and the experience of my family has *not* been comparable to those of white people in the usa. white people dont have to worry about ice grabbing you at the airport or off the streets or worry about their family overseas bc they bombed the apartment complex their uncle and cousins were living in. my mother got my brother a passport and has him carry it everywhere he goes bc shes terrified that hes going to be grabbed while biking with his friends and going to school. my dad had to drive to visit me bc they're taking iranians at the airport. even as a kid leading up to middle school, i would get called a hairy monkey bc i had a unibrow and more body hair than the other kids. i wasn't taught farsi bc my dad was terrified that i would be killed if someone thought i was a terrorist post-911. i learned to hide my dad being abusive to me and my mom bc i knew that if i talked about it people would pin his abuse to him being persian. white people mock the less popular of my cultural dishes for being 'weird'. i dont relate to or share white culture, i dont understand white people, and i dont feel any sort of link or kinship with them whatsoever. i feel closer to and safer around arabs, hispanics, chinese and indians than i do white individuals even though i look like one of them myself. i qualify as white via american racial dynamics but im not *white*
my experiences are nowhere close to the sort of systematic racism that darker skinned individuals experience in the states, but on the tier of racial hierarchy i dont consider myself on par with those of pure european descent. im culturally and ethnically middle eastern, even if i am racially mixed.

real talk real quick: it's rly silly when someone gets sent a callout on me and that person literally could care less or actively tells those weirdos to piss off
it heals the Tumblr ecosystem a lil bit to tell bad faith weirdos to go away
imo the way you feel about groups it's fully socially acceptable to hate (like children or polyamorous people, among others) is the canary in the coal mine for underlying bigoted beliefs. if you're only supportive of marginalized groups when it's cool to do so, probably you don't actually care about marginalized groups, you care about other people thinking you care
there are 1 trillion people in the notes of this post saying "yeah! i mean i hate kids but they should have rights!" you hate kids? you mean you hate all members of an oppressed group solely for their membership in this group? right. why do you hate them? because they can't take care of themselves and need help? because they don't understand social norms and can be "annoying" and disrespect boundaries as a result? because they can be messy? because they don't understand things in the same way as you do? that's awesome. how do you feel about disabled people btw
blue sunset on Mars is a real phenomenon caused by the way Martian dust scatters sunlight.
Unlike Earth, where sunsets are red and orange due to the scattering of shorter blue wavelengths by our atmosphere, Mars has an extremely fine dust that scatters blue light more efficiently near the Sun.
So during sunset on Mars, the sky turns reddish-brown while the area around the Sun glows a soft blue. It’s the opposite of what we experience on Earth.

it's just really apparent that people think it's okay to want pain but morally abhorrent to want to give it. sorry but the sadist gets to have fun too. it's actually pretty crucial to the process.
if I said I was going to a taekwondo class would you feel the need to tell me kicking people on the street is bad or.
Image ID: A screenshot of a tumblr comment that says "yeah, its only abhorrent imo, when the recipient is non consenting, i've" the screenshot cuts off.
my stance on the trans athlete debate is always and forever going to be that sports should be completely desegregated because humans have one of the smallest levels of sexual dimorphism in the animal kingdom and the disparity we see between male and female performance is entirely caused by social factors rather than anything biological. “should trans women compete against cis women” i think cis men and cis women could compete fairly but that’s apparently a little too spicy for people to wrap their minds around bc they’ve been told their whole lives women are biologically inferior & never thought to question that. or wonder if it’s maybe a self fulfilling prophecy of some kind. are women biologically inferior or do they appear so because patriarchy demands that of us?
