This poor kid.

Knets are absolutely nuts.

They sent death threats and funeral flowers and protest trucks when SM announced Seunghan was finally returning to the group -- after almost a year hiatus because he had a girlfriend and smokes cigarettes when he was a trainee, which was enough "scandal" to have more protest trucks and threats against this 20 year old kid -- and two days later he leaves permanently because it is unsafe for him to continue.

SM failed this kid, and his whole group, hard.

Bowing to the insane bullying of so-called fans -- especially while there was a huge wave of people ecstatic to hear that Seunghan was coming back! -- is only going to encourage more threats against artists and more toxic fans. The company should be protecting their talent, not validating the delusional violence of sasaengs.

I hope that Seunghan finds success and fulfillment elsewhere, and that the rest of riize is given better treatment going forward (and is receiving support now that they've had to leave their friend behind).
