I’ve had this Carmine/Tangerine/Sky girl (#16819450) of mine for years and never really wanted to give her a tertiary gene, but it’s held me back from breeding her much at all. I’m considering it now but on the fence. Which tertiary do you think I should give her? These are the ones I’ve been hung up on.

I actually love the way Crackle looks against the sunset gradient and how it colors the mane, but it’s kind of a dicey gene for breeding, most likely to get passed on but less likely to match well. Worth it?

I initially kept this girl because I loved the way her Shimmer wings looked and saw potential in her Charcoal/Moon/Sky color combo. I was still deciding on how to gene her when Starmap came out, and I loved the night-sky effect that came from her Charcoal primary. Stained is a pretty hit-or-miss tertiary for me, but when it works, it really works, and nothing else looked as good as it did. I just love the way the Sky overlay blends with that pop of lavender in the wings. My pearlescent astral Fae.

Some dragons I’ve hatched recently that I’m pretty pleased with! I actually applied my spare Runes scroll to the top one as soon as I saw that his tertiary color was moon.
