Reposted from @hcirhigher Long Post Alert! Hello everybody, we want to thank all of you for your kind comments, DMs etc, regarding Rich’s passing. As many of you know, he was murdered on November 9th a little after midnight outside a ball he was attending in Virginia Beach with his best friends. ArJai had stepped outside the party to talk on the phone and as he sat in the car on FaceTime, someone he didn’t know approached him apparently to rob him. It was a very brief encounter where he was shot at least 7 times. As a family there are no words to best describe the pain and trauma this has caused us. As his followers and friends you all know him as he shared who he was as a person with you through his various social media accounts. Even those of you who didn’t know him personally know that this is not a fate he should have met. Rich was truly one of the good ones who had no business being reduced to a homicide statistic. He was on a rocket ship to greatness and some selfish person, who most likely shared similarities with him, decided to end his life within seconds. Just.Like.That. You all are Rich’s contemporaries and you all have the power to help us make this right. We need people to share Rich’s story with the hashtags at the bottom of this post.
