•Yautja Prime possesses an axial tilt of 119∘, allowing for the three suns the planet orbits to shed light primarily on one side of the planet for extremely long periods of time, while leaving the southern and western regions cold and (mostly) dark.
•Yautja Prime is approximately 13 planets away from the three suns it orbits, although the light emitted is still hot enough to create a habitable environment on the planet, but too far away to drastically cause drought.
•Yautja Prime’s three suns go as told. “Katha Dahnn,” the first Sun of Yautja Prime. This is the largest sun, which will always linger over the deserts; the star itself is considered the main sun, which is older than Earth’s sun by 3 billion years. “Narzhatha Dahnn,” the second Sun of Yautja Prime. It is a red dwarf star and considered the coolest sun, but is still small in comparison to the main sun. “Rei’zai Dahnn,” the third Sun of Yautja Prime, is the hottest and smallest sun as a white dwarf star.
•In the solar system Yautja Prime is located within, there are 17 planets.
•Yautja Prime has two sub-moons. The first is “Kakra Luar-ke“, a giant green moon. And the second is “Dtu’tavak Luar-ke,” a tiny red moon. Both are seen in the comic Predator: Homeworld. These are the only formed moons, as Yautja Prime has many other asteroids within its orbit that typically come and go (seen in AVP: Requiem).
•Yautja Prime is a moon to a distant, black gas-giant with rings (seen in Predator: Badlands) known as “Centgaj'ya Gra'tha Vak'sk,” which is believed to be connected to the Black Warrior. The reason that Cetanu, the Yautja god of Death, is associated with this planet is because this gas giant blocks out the light of Narzhatha Dahnn and Rei’zai Dahnn at night, as well as Katha Dahnn in some regions. According to traditional Yautja folklore, the darkness is said to “swallow and kill” the suns for the night, and will only reappear when Cetanu returns their souls to the sky and light will shine on Yautja Prime again.
•Yautja Prime is roughly the size of Neptune, but slightly smaller.
•Yautja Prime rotates for 32 hours a day. Typically the days are longer, with 18 hours of total daylight and 14 hours of nighttime. However, this varies throughout region and season, and typically light never fully leaves the planet. A full year on Yautja Prime extends to 456 days, meaning 15 months.
•Gravity on Yautja Prime is about 13% lower than it is on Earth, allowing for aerial creatures and objects of large mass to have an easier liftoff from the ground.
•Its core is extremely molten, with frequent thermal activity that commonly bubbles to the surface. A majority of geysers, volcanoes, and other heat blooms across the planet are active. The most intense can be used as energy sources, especially for plasma weapons.
•The atmosphere can be thick and slightly hazy, composed of gases that support Yautja physiology but would be toxic to most other species. Certain conditions during the seasons or locations can cause dangerous components within the rain, such as radioactive or acidic minerals—which can also occur in the snow and contaminate water sources, though almost all of Prime’s life is easily able to filter out such components. Electrical storms are a common occurrence in most regions year-round, some clans even celebrating holidays when lightning is most bountiful. The harshest of these storms typically form over the seas. And due to the amount of heat the planet produces and receives, the carbon dioxide levels are extremely high, being one of the main gases the Yautja inhale.
•Other storms that occur in high intensity would be sandstorms, tornadoes, snowstorms, hurricanes, and even what is known to the Yautja as “Plasma Storms,” which occurs during the hottest points of the year, where electric gases sizzle up and become energized, creating red sparks in the air akin to the plasma weapons seen in Predator: Badlands. Plasma storms can be agonizingly painful to brave through due to the shocks and stings it can send against one's skin, but in small bursts, they are mostly harmless.
•Vrek’dtaur Na'rrei is the first transition back into the normal season, with the three suns returning to their original placements in the sky. However, Rei’zai Dahnn is becoming its most distant, and increasingly disappearing behind Katha Dahnn as Narzhatha Dahnn slowly moves closer to Yautja Prime. This is the Yautja equivalent to autumn, and can last for about 2 months.
•Tar-so’mek Na'rrei is basically winter for the Yautja, where the closest star would be Narzhatha Dahnn. Additionally, Rei’zai Dahnn hides behind Katha Dahnn throughout the entire season, making it appear as if Yautja Prime only orbits two suns. This causes significant drops in temperature along the entire world, with Gkei’laur D’lex-moun Ui’stgai’ya Tjau’bi being at it’s coldest and most dangerous. The ice and snow can reach to the forests of other nearby continents, and especially in the southern pole. This season lasts 3 months.
•Shemrasja Na'rrei is the season when Rei’zai Dahnn returns to its normal placement in the sky and Narzhatha Dahnn shrinks back, allowing for Yautja Prime to see all three suns once more. This causes for the ice to melt and the temperatures to rise back up, also allowing for the blooming of new flora and common rainfall across the continents. It lasts about 3 months.
•Hrak'sa Dahnn Na’rrei, also known as the “Coming of the First Sun.” This is when Katha Dahnn’s light is gradually beginning to reach almost all corners of Yautja Prime as the star inches its closest to the planet. It lasts for 2 months, and is essentially the equivalent to Earth’s easier summers. (Yautja Prime summers are MUCH harsher.)
•Almost always in the desert regions of Yautja Prime, the suns never truly sets. While Narzhatha Dahnn and Rei’zai Dahnn disappear from view during the night, Katha Dahnn is active throughout the entire 32 hours, allowing light to shine for a full year, even if the deserts significantly cool down during the night. However, Katha Dahnn can be visible to other regions except the southern pole during the “Dhak'rozai Na'rrei,” the “High Sun Season.” This is Yautja Prime’s summer, when the sunlight lasts longer and becomes even hotter, even igniting the desert’s nights into day for 3 months. The reason it grows hotter is because this is when Yautja Prime is closest to and facing the three suns.
•Zhulrak-che Dahnn Na’rrei is known to the Yautja as “Departure of the First Sun,” quite literally meaning that Katha Dahnn is slowly distancing itself from Yautja Prime and it’s light is becoming dimmer, leaving the other regions besides the desert in total darkness at night again. It lasts for 2 months, and is considered the final season on the planet before the new year begins.
•Hrak'sa Dahnn Na’rrei, Dhak'rozai Na’rrei, and Zhulrak-che Dahnn Na’rrei can be all combined into one singular season. However, with the slowness of this event, the Yautja separate it into three seasons.
•Mating season for the Yautja occurs every 2-3 years, remaining inconsistent based on how hot the summers can get. They most commonly occur during Dhak'rozai Na'rrei. The season can last 3-4 months, and will be held in region-based gatherings beneath landmark Shrines of the Gods. Yautja from lesser clans and distant planets are allowed to attend these gatherings. Notably as well, Yautja aren’t restricted to mating only with their subspecies, and are allowed to gather beneath a shrine that doesn’t belong to their region nor subspecies.
•Few cities would actually exist on Yautja Prime—with the most notable being in the near center of Dtai’rau-ytei Ui’stgai’ya Tjau’bi, called “Agaj’zin m-di H’dlak Yin’tekai” (based off the city we see in AVP: Requiem), where the Predator King, the Ancient Council, the Prince Clan, and the Elite Clan coexist alongside several other noble and honorable Yautja. The Kings Clan, as the overseeing government of all Yautja, own several individual territories across Yautja Prime—often honorable burial grounds or temples, taverns, outposts for Enforcers, ancient sites, ritualistic grounds, coliseums and prey-containment facilities (seen in Predator: Killer of Killers), etc. This would also include the shrines.
•The Elite Clan has been granted a segment of territory on each continent, used as training grounds for the Young Bloods of their tribe (seen in AVP Game 2010). They specifically use these as a means to safely release Xenomorphs and other dangerous prey without causing a potential infestation, as well as forcing their young to be able to adjust to the environment and be ready for whatever comes.
•The Yautja government only allows honorable clans to live on Yautja Prime—with the rest being forced to exist as “lesser tribes” on other planets and hunting grounds. This is why territory markers between clans can change at a whim, since dishonorable measures will force you out and away from Prime, as well as the amount of honor you bring to your tribe can expand your terf. An example of a lesser clan being allowed to live on Yautja Prime would be the Crouturn Clan, who moved to the jungles once one of their members, G’kuage, defeated the Bad Blood Matriarch, Mauth.
•It’s not an uncommon occurrence for the Yautja to bring their prey back to their homeworld and store them in cryosleep chambers for later usage. Often times, they slowly assimilate the planets gases into the prey’s respiratory system and use modifications in order to allow them to breathe their air. Before hunts, a majority of Yautja will do the same so they are capable of breathing the air on other planets, which is why most go into cryosleep on the way to their desired hunting grounds. However, some who come unprepared need specific masks to assist in breathing, such being the one City Hunter uses on the rooftop of the meatpacking factory in Predator 2.
•The ores on Yautja Prime are bountiful due to the abundance of thermal activity, causing a bloom of several crystals and minerals in caverns and volcanoes. The main metal the Yautja use for their gear, armor, and weapons, called “d’lex,” is one of many extraterrestrial ores found on the planet, with many branching off from the periodic table in the formation of new components. This can also be seen in Predator 2.
