I’ve Got a Bad Feeling About This ||with blackrexch||
“The guards keep mentioning that Dawnguard shit,” Ayalea said as she dropped her bow and quiver and satchel on the table with a loud thump.
She’d just returned from the city after meeting with a fence she’d come in contact with through Delvin. She undid her cloak and tossed it over the back of one of the chairs and kicked off her boots, walking through their cave barefoot. Moving in front of him, she crossed her arms over her chest and let out a sigh.
“I think we should go poke around,” she said. “I’d rather know what we’re up against than have them decide to figure out what’s making all the exploding noises when you’re fucking with your Dwemer stuff.”

Aerendac flipped through the broadsheet he’d gotten the day before, more news of dragon attacks, of vampire attacks... “Agreed, I think they will be a problem in the future,” the Dawnguard was troublesome. Last week, an orc in Dawnguard armor had tried to recruit him for the organization.
“But poking around might be bad,” he didn’t have a good feeling about her idea, “Surely I am not the only scholar of the Dwemer in Skyrim. That fellow down in Markarth... the self-important Altmer, he is an expert on my people supposedly and he does not get accused of being a vampire.”
He tapped his fingers on the table thoughtfully, “I could always go elsewhere, back to Blackreach or even to Winterhold. The College had quite the reputation even in my day and mages may be more inclined to overlook my condition.” Sure he didn’t like the thought of going elsewhere, but considering they tended to get rather annoyed with one another over his tinkering and experimenting...
