✓ - How do they react to praise? 

She puffs up like a proud little blowfish, and sometimes blushes a bit. She wasn’t met with praise too often in her childhood; her mother regarded her a lazy romantic idiot with head full of dreams and nothing useful. Her father, who gave her praise more often, was usually away on trading missions.

(of these next I couldn’t be sure which one it is)✕ - How do they handle rejection? 

Not in a sane person way, to be honest. She will keep on trying for some time, and might in fact end up stalking if she really longs for something or someone. She won’t get physical without consent, but she tends to be more passionate than would be sane or acceptable.*

✖ - Who is someone they just cannot stand?

She doesn’t have a nemesis, per se, but she generally dislikes all mages. And of all mages, she particularly hates necromancers. Medawin herself has hardly any gifts of magic at all, and struggles to perform even the most trivial of spells, such as lighting a fire with magic. In her future, in verses that have sometimes already been played, she discovers a long-dormant affinity for illusion magic, but still fails to cast destruction spells, let alone conjuration. Her hate of mages is obviously caused by her bottomless frustration of her own lack of magical talent.

“Magic is cheating” is something of a motto of hers.

I have to admit that I have recently had a personal encounter with someone who handles rejection like Medawin, and I was left with a long-lasting emotional trauma and insecurity, which makes me wonder if such a trait is ok to be written in a light-hearted way. There were other factors as well though, and my feeling of insecurity wasn’t caused entirely by the guy’s emotional approach. I had known him for years and could never expect him to be prone to harassment, so I invited him over for a few days. He refused to acknowledge my refusal of physical intimacy. He made me feel guilty for not accepting his advances. He also refused to leave my apartment. I should have just called the police, now that I think of it further. He just said that he “won’t give up” like that was a good trait in him, and not harassment. I have since concentrated more on my characters honoring physical space in ordinary threads in which the focus isn’t on dealing with heavy issues.
