Hello there! This is my anonymous little blog for current fixations to try and get some interactions with people with them.

I am a mainly platonic creator

This is my anonymous little blog for my current fixations and interests! I am currently cutting down on social media so Im only kind of active here.

My AO3 is still up and if I ever have things I write, they will likely go there. Below are some notes on the works I have done for this account. Thank you for checking it out! And I hope you find some interest!

Divided Frame of Mind - Branch, Bruce, Clay and Floyd search for John Dory, only for Holly Darlin' (Trollstopia) to tell them he's staying in Lonesome Flatts. However, when they get there, they are not greeted how they expect. (one shot, finished)

Smoke and Starlight - a continuation beyond TBT, helped Poppy with an annual world meeting and learns about his parents and his brothers as he helps set up. (multi chapter, wip, Branch, JD and Floyd centric)

Keep Me Breathing - Upon being rescued and traveling back to Pop Village, Floyd makes some observations about his older brother and gives him a hug - which, turns out he really needed (one shot, finished)

The More I Learn, the Less I Bleed - an argument erupts in the bunker one night where the brother learns a horrifying truth - their oldest has been living his life in time loops; one of which including the last performance they did as a band. (one shot, finished)

Soldier On AU - human au, concept - John Dory hasn’t seen his brothers since their parents divorced when he was fifteen. Twenty years later, he is discharged from the military after an explosion and is slowly reunited with his brothers. (concept, snippets only)

Halfway Gone - Damian comes to Stephanie about Dick Grayson's apparent death with a theory. She believes him. After all, he is their Batman. (one shot series, Outrun the Wind PT1)

Take the Leap - With Stephanie believing Damian’s theory, the two of them try to figure out how to proceed and consider recruiting help. (One shot series, Outrun the Wind PT2)

I'd Give You My Lungs - Jason had never heard the wail of a father losing his son tragically too young before. But when Damian dies, he does. (oneshot, finished)

I've Got You, Brother - Jason is glad he's the one who finds it. Jason hates that he is the one who finds it. But his brother is alive. And he needs to find out what happened. (one shot, finished)

Long Haul - Roy Harper is recovering from a gunshot wound and ends up in Bludhaven after a mysterious unconnected call from his best friend. He finds a blown up apartment, a dead criminal on a roof and a creepy woman.

Blink Twice - Stephanie Brown sees the parts of Robins that are left behind after their (temporary) deaths.

I’m not really an anime person. My sisters got into it (although I think less so now) and I had a bone to pick (personal) cause my aunt kept calling my art anime (petty I know but I was young and it’s not that it was an insult to me but my art wasn’t anime so it pissed me off) but I have long since grown past that.

I’ve watched very little. Snippets of shows from my sisters, a couple of movies that a friend showed me or had me watch with her, etc. I never picked up a manga in my life.

I moved out of my parents pretty late than average in a typical western household. It was a good time to do it although my parents by no means chased me out. But one day I was thinking about an anime/manga that my sister used to read(?) and although looking back I think it was actually something else, I was led into my first real watch through of an anime that I finished.

Fullmetal Alchemist.

Long story short, loved it. Loved the characters loved the story and the themes and the lessons. Oh. Boy. Here I was, alone in my new apartment, by myself for the first time and watching this masterpiece of animation.

(And yes I’ve seen 03 and Brotherhood)

That was that. Fast forward to now, I’ve watched some animes since. Not many, not a lot it’s still not my preferred medium. There are some aspects I don’t care for. No big. I’ve been pretty desperate lately so I’ve tried a few. Nothing that compared to FMA. And then I heard the writer of Fullmetal made a new one and it was becoming an anime so I went sure. Let’s try it.

Yeah so now I’m hunting down manga for both FMA and the new one cause I’m gonna read them. I’ve got 2 second hand of FMA and two of the new one with three more on the way. THIS LADY CAN WRITE YO

I don’t usually get the half undressed Dick Grayson covers (I have a titans one that’s a beach thing but that’s about it. I know the pumpkin one and toe sweater weather one etc. are popular but hmmm (even tho I do like Travis Moores art) however it is Dan Mora and it’s not too crazy and weird and it’s actually real just him going out to surf and well ok I preordered it just in case

Looking for Dick Grayson & Bruce Wayne duo fics. i need them to breathe.

Dick Grayson & Bruce Wayne. Grayson and Wayne. Dick and Bruce. Batman and Robin. Father and Son. Orphan and Orphan. Tragic and Sweet.

When I say I need fics of them i mean I need them like I need oxygen. Any and all recs are welcome. Like what do you mean they set each other off like nothing else but they are also the only ones who truly understand each other? Dick will always come back to Bruce and Bruce will always come back to Dick. Batman and Robin. His first robin, his first son, his first partner. If you haven't read any of the golden age comics where dick and bruce are actually just have the time of their lives being best friends I highly recommend you go do that now. I understand now Dick is nightwing and Bruce has all his children but there is just something so specially unique to just them.

This is my THING

I am kind of crazy specific about my Bruce and Dick fics so this list probably isn't as long as someone who isn't as specific but I've got some good ones. Dick and Bruce's relationship is absolutely so fascinating and people forget a lot of aspects of it, trying to shove them in a specific mold/trope with that whole one size fits all mentality.

These two are SO not normal about one another and it is great.

I’m a huge sucker for Bruce defending Dick and that’s this. If you’re an absolute diehard for Jason, Tim and Barbara then maybe not this one but it’s not really bashing either. It’s just a lot of Bruce’s thoughts and him having all ten toes down for Dick. Other characters are involved, Dick is dating Helena Bertinelli in this one (although this is very background)

I love this Fic it’s delightful. I not only wrote a giant comment but also practically a full essay review on here.

It’s protective Bruce when he finds out he finds out the altercation between Clark and Dick after Bruce died and Dick became Batman (the altercation is canon for the time, although this fic obviously is not)

Both Bruce and Dick are Batman (during that precarious time between Bruce coming back and the beginning of N52) technically canon compliant, some DG glazing (mostly from Bruce’s his own thoughts and consideration) and it’s just a super interesting Fic. And I'm a huge softie for Dick and/or Bruce being wildly protective of one another cause canonically they absolutely are and very often have thoughts about how great the other is when they hang out/stop crime/fight together.

Also small ft of Damian and his own protectiveness of Dick although in a fun way.

I just really enjoy it, that's all. And it's pretty canon-compliant which is often (not always but often) a win in my book.

It's probably not the entire list I have in my history but they are ones that I come back to. I don't have nearly enough copies of the older comics but I do collect World's Finest (old and new) as well as some older reprints when I can because their dynamic has always been fascinating to me and I love them.

That awkward part when you don’t really get into the batfam like most do and love Bruce more than the Batfam fandom generally does but your favorite character is also Dick Grayson so anti batfam/some Bruce fans lump him in with all the other kids/batfam and so you see slander in pro Bruce stuff.

The idea that the Justice League is competing on being Batman’s best friend (he’s got unique platonic relationships with all of them) until they realize they ACTUALLY competing with a 12-13 year old and are actually LOOSING badly (he’s been Bruce’s bff for years since Dickie was 8)
