I definitely was not the person walking past that school bus when it went through a giant mud puddle, spraying any/all bistanders. I definitely also didn’t shout profanities in an unlady-like, undignified manner afterwards.

When Blaine sits, Leah actually gets a good look at him for the first time. Her eyes dart from the top of his dark hair, to his small ears and sharp jaw, and she barely holds back on biting on her lip as her eyes trail down his wide shoulders and strong arms, down to his petite waist. He’s beautiful.
She looks back up into his eyes, and a smile spreads across her lips, toothy and playful, even from behind a pillow. She reaches behind and grabs her tail, bringing it round her body and showing it off by holding it out to him.
“Meow!” Her whole body wiggles in anticipation.
Blaine sees her eyes wandering. It’s a little freaky how catlike her fast-moving pupils are, jumping across his figure as though he were a skittering bug on the wall.
He hadn’t noticed the feather boa at first glance, so Leah’s presentation takes Blaine a little by surprise. He chuckles, nodding. “Is that your tail? Very pretty.”
She’s cute. In a strange way.

Leah sits patiently back on her haunches, eyeing the crack until the paper slips back. She picks it up with her paws, tilting her head and then smiling softly to herself. Though it didn’t help her one bit.
She was in her kitten space, though, if minimal after her talk with Doctor Lucat the other day, so she folds the paper and places it by her feet before opening the door once again, this time peeking to make sure he was there before letting him in silently from behind the door.
She’s a little shy though, and for once Leah doesn’t speak up, instead going to her pillows and flopping on her stomach, eyes watching Blaine to see what he’ll do next.
Blaine is left waiting momentarily, but the door opens soon enough. He steps inside and closes it behind them, observing Leah as she heads straight to an impressively large collection of pillows on the floor. There’s a bed across the room that looks relatively undisturbed, and it takes Blaine a moment to process that Leah could be so much of a kitten that she’s even forsaken the basic use of furniture.
“Cat Leah, then?” he assumes, giving her a reassuring smile. “That’s cool with me. Can I, uh-- Can I sit?”
He doesn’t wait for permission - just takes a few steps closer and, somewhat awkwardly, lowers himself down onto the floor. He’s a good two feet from the pillows, legs crossed on the tile. “Thanks for inviting me to visit.”

Leah sits straight up from her pillows when there’s a knock at her door, head flicking excitedly towards the sound. She scampers her way across the room, destructing one of the walls of her pillow fort and gets up on two paws to reach the door handle, cracking the door open and peeking around to see who was there.
It was Fancy Cat. Bright yellow eyes and all. He actually came.
Leah shuts the door almost instantly.
She goes to her desk and grabs a pen, as well as a scrap of paper, haphazardly etching out two symbols: a stick figure drawing of a girl, and a stick drawing of a cat. Slamming the pen back down on her desk, she crawls back over to the doorway and slips the piece of paper under the door, the tips of her fingers visible for a small moment of time before sliding back.
When the door rapidly opens, just a bit, Blaine catches a glimpse of Leah eyeing him on the other side. He smiles. Then the door is shut just as quickly, leaving Blaine’s mouth hanging open, his greeting struck silent.
Did she not want him to visit after all? What is he supposed to do now? Go back to the coordinator and say he couldn’t even get into the room, much less have a conversation? He grimaces at the thought. Blaine Anderson doesn’t fail. He raises his hand to knock again when a slip of paper pops out from beneath the door.
Blaine looks at it curiously. It’s easy enough to decipher. Should I be a girl or a cat? Blaine’s impressed that Leah would be willing to try giving him the choice. Leah had given him nothing to write with, but it’s no matter. He reaches into his shirt pocket. Of all the things his mom had taught him, one was that he should always carry his cell phone, a pen, and a handkerchief. You never knew when you’d need them.
Blaine scribbles quickly and flicks it back under the doorframe.
Cat Tales || Blaine/Leah
It wasn’t that hard to get his volunteer hours assigned to a meeting with Leah. The volunteer coordinator seemed pretty excited, actually, that Blaine asked for her. It gave Blaine the impression that maybe Leah didn’t get a ton of visitors. She seemed nice, though, and Blaine was more than willing to give it a try, especially after she’d asked him to come.
“Just talk with her, if you can,” the coordinator encouraged. “Even if she doesn’t feel like holding a conversation, it’s still good for her to hear dialogue.”
He didn’t know what to expect. He hadn’t spent a significant amount of time with Leah in person - or, uh, in kitten. Blaine chuckled at his own joke as he navigated the residence hallway and stopped at her door. He knocked twice.
“A visitor for you!” Blaine called.

Yes! I’m waiting for him. He hasn’t come visit, but one day he will pick me up unless level rises and I find new match for me. Doctor Lucat says more likely but I stay positive.

True, true. I just figured I’d try a few things and pick the one that worked best. That probably sounds like pretty poor planning, but I haven’t really given it a whole lot of thought, honestly? My dad was a five. I want to do better. If I got to seven, that’d be cool, but six is good enough.
