Blake has always been my weeb-ass’s favorite character since I first started watching RWBY back in 2014. I didn’t start shipping Bumbleby until the end of Volume 5 when everyone reunited and there was this exchange between Yang and Blake that felt different. Armed and Ready has been my favorite RWBY song for a long time now, even using it to hype myself up for job interviews. The fight with Adam and their interactions in Atlas further solidified it for me. And while I was content just watching things go, canonizing Bumbleby has sent my brain into overdrive. I’m not usually a shipper to this degree but they’re too damn cute. They make me happy.
I don't usually post about Weiss, but I can't wait for her to find out in volume 10 that that shit stain patriarch Jacques Schnee is dead after the rest of her family has already had time to come to terms with it and now she has to reconcile her animosity for him coupled with the fact that he WAS her dad. Something about the hope for what he could have become without the Schnee Dust Company under him or something like that.
Surely she has at least ONE good memory of him, right?

I’m not 100% certain because the picture is blurry, but I think that’s Meghan Camarena, aka Strawburry17. That also looks like her dog Chewy in the second picture of the post. Plus, Meghan IS a sourdough enthusiast.
I’ve followed Strawburry17 a LOT back when Youtube was more social and less commercial. And if that really is her, this is an absolutely wild pairing for me.

I’m making a hail mary prediction. ViZ has dropped a RWBY Bluray at the end of the month for the last ten months, save for December. March 24 is volume 9. Could they possibly have something up their sleeve for the end of April?
Well, as we all probably know by now, GamerSupps is doing a RWBY collab, being revealed on May 1.
So my prediction: ViZ is going to reveal the Volume 10 character designs for at least Team RWBY and those designs will be on the GamerSupps products for the RWBY collab.
ViZ is dropping RWBY Vol 9 Bluray on March 24. They’ve caught up. I feel like we should be hearing about Volume 10 in the near future. Maybe as early as the end of April? I’d love if they premiere V10 in July to coincide with the 13th anniversary.
Something new to add to the collection. I would love a master set but that’s nowhere near reasonable. These were also open box so no promo cards.
(The audacity of the deck’s eBay listing to say it was opened to make sure everything was there as though I didn’t know they were checking for a stamped card. The cards were unwrapped.)
