AC Characters - as parents

Tyler - loves his kids because he always wanted to be a dad, but puts a lot of pressure on them as well. Like, he excpects them to always give their best. If they can't do it, it's okay but they have to try their best. Can go full dad-mode (the worst dad jokes you can imagine). When punishing them you know excactly what you get. The same misbehaviour gets the same punishment every time. He can read his kids very well. Was the first to know that Lae is into girls. In the end he wants whats best for them/be considerate what they want, even though it's not always what he would want for them.

Saedii - Surprisingly good mother. Like, you wouldn't have thought she can be so loving (only for her kids in public!). Like when she got pregnant with Lae Scar was a bit worried, because she didn't seem like the motherly type but she really fulfilled that role (though she hated being pregnant). Is a chill mom. Has high expectations as well, especially considering training and school marks but if you do well in these both things you can do more or less whatever you want. Admitting to her what you've done wrong is a horrible idea! Their kids always prefer Tyler. You never know the punishment. She's in a good mood? Alright, don't do this again. She's in a bad mood? Better start cleaning the house...

Kaliis - Soft parenting level endgame. He's really scared of turning into his father. He tried to keep his kids away from every sort of violence/fighting, but especially his youngest daughter just has ... the warbreed in her. After a long conversation with Saedii he acknowledged that it would be wrong to force her to surpresse this side of her as well. He's all about talking and would never force his kids to do ANYTHING they don't want to do. Could never punish them. He's always the one who puts the kids in bed. They DEMAND their father. Sings the most beautiful lullabies.

Aurora - Loving kind of mom who's really enjoys being a mother. Like cooking from ingredients, crafting or playing outside. Because she misses her sister the siblings relationship between her kids is something she really tries to support. Can get overwhelmed and stressed when they need 20 paper rolls at 11 p.m. for the next school day (Kal handles these situations). Absolut victim of baby fever. Very rational mother in everything she does. Tries to encourage her kids to try as many things as they can.
