saheon got happy because soleum listened to him over himself, because soleum shares his judgement and is on the same page, because ITS FRUSTRATING to not be when he wants it so much, because for saheon it makes sense to self preserve and he wants to know he IS RIGHT, that he, saheon, thinks right and did right. it's a validation because kim soleum as an agent was his jiminy cricket, for the first time in his lonely wooden pinocchio life of being raised in a cult there is selfless kindness, unheard and unfelt before, that he rejects but also welcomes in a agonizing self conflict and he wants to know the extent of that kindness that he should parrot if to get on the same page with soleum and he is glad he will not have to bend himself more for something that he views as pure stupidity, he is relieved. he feels understood, seen, heard, he feels connected.

okay so let's address the elephant in the room, elephant in the room being that the thing we are seeing is not even real soleum. cause real soleum is uncanny valley in directors ho office and we never interacted with that thing whatsoever unless it was mass murdering 1 million inhabited city.

so what we have is an ex goo crossed with wish essence which was contaminated when he left, acted contaminated when he left his og body and never even MENTIONED APOCALYPSE IN 3 YEARS TO ANYONE HE SAVED, and returned because one of the contaminations festered into calling him back.
