19|He/Him Hey there! I'm Blazer (He/Him) I'm an aspiring game and narrative designer. This blog will serve as a general writing blog and a multi-fandom blog(Mostly Fire Emblem) Hope we get along! Wrting side-blog @wyvernwriterparttwo DNI if you are a bigot.
Here are some things I'm hoping for for Fire Emblem Fortune's Weave
Class restrictions so that not every unit can use every weapon. This seems to be the case based on this screenshot, where certain wepaon ranks are greyed out based on class, but I'm unsure.
Balanced classes and no genderlocks. Idk if they'll even attempt the second one but come on please. I beg. Don't just make it wyvern city.
More cool magical effects besides just dark magic and maybe wind. There's already cool stuff with Blaze Arts, so I feel like if any game can make magic cool its this one.
Being able to play multiple routes at once before you decide who to choose permanently after a certain point. Probably unrealistic, but there are some hints of FE Echoes, and Radiant Dawn did something similar, so maybe??
In addition, a Mercenary system? Like some characters can be recruited on multiple routes at a time, but doing so deprives other armies of that unit. Maybe they leave after each round of the tournament and need to be hired again. Yeah, throw some Berwick in there why not?
Informational trailers/posts on mechanics and characters before the game comes out. I think it happened for Engage and I don't think it'd hurt yo know more about it. Feels annoying to have to wait for a direct to know things.
Less time spent st the base, more time playing the fuckin Fire Emblem game. I know there's gonna be a lot of prep time, but I don't want a Monastery 2.0. It seems like we're getting different stuff but I feel like since this is FE3H but again in a lot of ways...I can't be too careful.
Each route has maps outside of the tournament that are different. Hell even the maps in the tournament could be shaken up a little. Anything to avoid the game getting stale like last time.
Eshmel/Avatar is not important until halfway through. Please don't overshadow the 4 main guys you've spent two trailers hyping up, only to make me play as/care about some random giy...please omg.
...Good Gameplay and story. And if nothing else, characters that are likeable.
wait you're nonbinary?? are you afab or amab- sorry, transmasc or transfem?? ....oh you're neither?? okay, are you tma (harmless and innocent and 'one of the good ones') or tme (annoying and therefore evil)?? these ones arent gender-based, so they're better- oh you dont like the new boxes we came up with because they still slot you into a gender binary? okay youre an icky evil tme then, because you dont like them. die.
It's time for my son who I adore the most~! Again!!
Usually he's in my own world but I put him in FE3H rps enough times to just...do this as well.
🔥Taurn,Solar Flare🔥
"I want to be someone that you can always rely on. And for that, I need strength that can rival even the strongest warriors."
General Information
Name: Taurn von Cymbeline
Gender/Pronouns: Male(He/Him)
Orientation: Bisexual Biromantic
Age:18
Birthday:4/17 Great Tree Moon
Height: 6’2
Weight: 208 lbs
Occupation:Student at Garreg Mach, Heir to House Cymbeline.
Physical Description
Taurn von Cymbeline is a burly and athletic young man with black skin. He has scars from battle or training all over his chest, and a few on his face. He also has freckles and a few sunspots on his skin. He has dark red, unkempt hair and bright orange eyes.
Personality
"My mother... whenever I was scared, she'd comfort me. She'd whisper things like 'It's always darkest before the dawn,' and hug me and stay with me until I was calm. I've always wanted to be there for someone like that. We all deserve that kind of comfort."
Taurn is a brash, headstrong and friendly young man, doing whatever he can to protect all he holds dear. He is strong, loyal, and determined to be a reliable pillar and an exemplar of strength. His confidence and kindness for his allies knows no bounds, and are often infectious, spreading to his allies and soldiers. Even in times of peace or stillness, he is always there to make sure his friends face the warm embrace of the sun, while his enemies feel its wrath.
He strives to perfect his image in everything he does, and is proud of his position as a noble. But despite that, He does not believe he is better than commoners, nor does he let the nobility insult or demean him. He commands respect wherever he goes, and is a bit restless when he does not get it.
He is a seeker of victory, justice and glory, and will do anything to do right by his fellow students, and family. He wants to be good enough to stand by his family and people and gain his father's approval. And he wants to gain the strength to give others hope, and help them to be strong and safe.
His recklessness and overprotective nature leaves him with wounds. He is also a tad too optimistic, believing in the idea that everyone has an equal opportunity to be strong, despite the myriad of systems in place that make nobles more powerful and commoners weaker.
Taurn isn’t exactly tactful. He can hold his own well, yet he struggles with political conversation, and strives to be better at it. Though he much prefers to be simple, direct, and quick, instead of playing mind games with other nobles.

Backstory
"Don't...don't look at me. Don't look at me like that! I don't need your pity! I'm supposed to... d-damn it. Why is this happening now!?"
Taurn von Cymbeline is the heir to House Cymbeline, a barony in The Adrestian Empire. His father is Baron Atlas von Cymbeline. Atlas is an ambitious and power hungry man, who serves his emperor proudly, defending the imperial throne and helping lead their war efforts. While he didn't join in on the Insurrection of the Seven, it was clear that he had some… poorly hidden ambitions.
If the emperor were to lose power, then he figured he was sure to lose his own influence as well, as it was traded around with the new people in power. But if Atlas defended him and warded off the insurrectionists… he'd gain his favour and potential power over those who crossed him. It was a genius plan.
Unfortunately, all he was really able to do was try and stand up to the nobles to fend him off from arrest. Not only was he outmanned, but Count Leopold von Bergliez-the noble he served- was with them. Atlas knew something rash like starting a battle would lead to more issues. So he was forced to hold his tongue and wait, watching as Emperor Ionius IX, the man who once had the most power over him, became a pathetic puppet.
Since then, he's been focusing on improving his image and power.Making the empire's influence and power spread like wildfire and being able to conquer all foes that lay in his path. The thought was exhilarating for Atlas. And perhaps he'd have more of a chance if he was patient.
Taurn and Scarlett were never sure if he was exaggerating. But, considering that many knights and soldiers still called him “The Prominence”, they figured there was some semblance of truth to it.
Taurn's childhood was primarily spent being trained and educated in the ways of war and tactics by his father or any number of tutors and advisors. Atlas held Taurn and his sister Scarlett to a high standard. He trained them regularly, from noon to night, everyday for years. They were to be just as strong as him, no matter what. Otherwise, their lands would surely crumble and fall into obscurity. Sometimes, it seemed that his title was all he cared about, and Atlas did a poor job of proving either of them wrong.
Atlas was especially hard on Taurn. He was the heir, and also a man. In the baron’s mind, he was destined for greatness, if only he was groomed for it. Atlas wanted power, and saw Taurn as a way to get more of it, and made damn sure that he was capable of meeting his expectations.
Sometimes they trained with iron weaponry. Other times he’d be forced to travel and hike through harsh terrain with only so much supervision so that he wouldn’t die. And any failure was met with harsh punishment, along with verbal or physical abuse.
One day, when he was 15, Taurn was entered into a tournament. Atlas saw this as his chance to prove how strong his heir was, and Taurn saw this as his chance to be praised by his family and his people.
In the beginning, he was doing well, despite being young compared to the competitors. But as the battles grew harder, and the pressure built, his heart seemed to be as pained as his body and soul were starting to falter
Near the end, he suddenly stopped, feeling a searing pain in his heart, and his breathing got heavy. He collapsed, and was unable to continue the tournament.
He failed.
Atlas was furious, yelling at him for embarrassing him in front of so many people.Taurn remembered little of what Atlas actually said that day. But he remembered him shouting at him when they got home. He remembered his father shaking him, he remembered tears, he remembered being struck to the ground. He remembers feeling like a disgrace, and promising to the world that he would never let that happen again.
It turned out that Taurn had developed a heart condition due to the severity of his training and the stress his father had put him under. When he was under too much physical stress, his heart and body would start to ache and he would have a reaction similar to what happened at the tournament. It took him time, but he eventually was able to continue his training, with the added caveat that he now couldn't train as hard, or for as long as he did before. His physicians thought that to be the best option.
His father saw this as a tremendous weakness and a failure on Taurn's part. Any time he needed to rest, or his heart felt pained, he'd mock him. He began looking to Scarlett as his new training project, as she was relatively healthy, and has her own combat skills thanks to her magical prowess and tactical mind. Scarlett and Imogen did care for him and tried to support him. His mother specifically was much more gentle and doted on him a lot.
Taurn didn’t mind being cared for, but something within him made his stomach churn when he was recovering. It didn’t feel normal, or right, especially since being like this angered his father, and worried his mother and sisters.
When turn was ready and able, Taurn swore an oath to himself. He swore that he would never let himself falter again, so he would never be in such a pathetic state, where people would need to care about him. And with that oath, Taurn continued his training.
After Taurn's own physical training was complete, Baron Atlas had him enrolled into the Officer's Academy at Garreg Mach in order to gain more influence, allies and potential, as well as gain knowledge and tactics he could use to fight, while Scarlett stayed behind to continue her studies as a commander and warrior.

"It's an honor to fight by your side, friend. Hopefully, we'll be able to do so for years to come."
Headcanons and Fun Facts
Based on Hector (Fire Emblem 7), Diamant and Alfred(Fire Emblem 17), Isabeau (In Stars and Time) ,Akihiko, and Kazushi (Persona 3), as well as a few other characters, maybe.
Represented by the Strength tarot card/arcana. Could also be The Sun or The Emperor.
A little easy when it comes to romance of any kind. Gets really red in the face. Yet, he is incredibly affectionate and loving to those he cherishes.
He’s really warm. Both his hands and body are warm to the touch.
Often hides after battles or exercise to prevent people from knowing about his condition. Would probably learn healing magic to heal himself.
Pockets are usually filled with snacks for his friends!

So, ive posted my FE9 Personal Skill videos. So uhh... yay.
I have a lot of ideas, but not a whole lot of time to execute them. I plan on making a video every month or so, mostly FE related, but with other topics being possible if their good.
Back in high school, I was friends with this person at our table, and I think one day I randomly asked for their pronouns and they said "they/them" to me, but our entire friend group kept using "she/her" when talking to or about them. But they never said anything about it. And I was always a little confused on what to do in that situation???
Cuz like, the group seemed normal when it came to queer stuff, and the fact that they felt comfortable enough to tell me their pronouns made it seem like it wasn't a secret, or that they weren't closeted etc. But they never corrected anyone, at least while I was around. So I wasn't sure if I should've said something, or if by saying something I would be bringing the group down or outting them so I just kind of never did, and then we all drifted apart.
Or like, I did, because idk if they're all still friends and I'm just that weird kid they cut out of the group silently, and now it's too late to ask.
Oh well, Life is such and whatnot. Hope they're well.
The fun part about making any piece of media in the indie sphere nowadays, is that if someone doesnt like it well enough, Javert from Les Miserables will come out and hunt you down and find any reason to say that you are morally bankrupt and need to die painfully.
How would y'all feel if I started working on a fic about a boy who has the ability to use "FORBIDDEN" magic (water magic) and feels bad about it?
Oc based. Canon guys show up but it's mostly ocs. How would you feel?
Unsure if I will actually do it. I have other projects to work on and I've only ever written one fanfic that I'm proud of. But
It's got found family. It tackles the themes of the story in an interesting way. I think.
There's an angry woman who I based on Susie Deltarune but older.
i don't know man maybe we should let the poc people speak about how they feel instead of immediately defending people who we do not know personally like they're our friends and disregard the feelings of the minority they affected. but maybe that's just me
