The Bleach Avatar AU!

This is an AU that me and @skullywullypully have made where Orihime is the Avatar and she and her friends go on to defeat Fire Lord Aizen.

In the AU Ichigo is a lavabender, Chad is an earthbender, Rukia is a waterbender, Renji is a firebender, and Uryu is a Yuyan Archer

I have a lot of hot bleach takes I don't talk about but I think the biggest one I have is that Toshiro is only involved in so many arcs because he's a cash cow fan favorite character. Great backstory, cool abilities, but there's no fucking reason he should be replacing characters like Uryu and Chad on merch. You could take Toshiro out of Bleach and the plot would be exactly the same.

He's the TENTH CAPTAIN. Every ounce of attention he got should have been focused on Jushiro instead... you know, the dude who have Ichigo the combat pass and is also RUKIAS CAPTAIN?!?!?!

Here's Uryu with a new look! What I have in mind for this and Orihime's hairstyle is that these are essentially my headcanon for their hairstyles in adulthood.

For some inspiration, I came across a character named Yashamaru Sakutaro from B Project. I'm reminded of my headcanon that Uryu's hair starts getting wavy getting into adulthood.

Orihime, Chad, and Uryu were the only ones who's hairstyles hardly changed in the 10 year timeskip.

Meanwhile, Ichigo got slapped with the Naruto treatment, but worse.

Plus, new glasses! I came across some frames that were, like, half-rounded and half-rectangular...and I sorta saw it as a visual representation of his mending relationship with Ryuuken.

Ryuuken's glasses were rounded. Soken's glasses were rectangular. As a child, Uryu wore rounded glasses. As a teen, rectangular.

Crazy that they’re getting rid of Bleach Soul Puzzle after less than two years

Don’t get me wrong, this game was incredibly baffling to me when it was announced, but I did like it and thought it was really cute

They haven’t had the monthly events and haven’t released any new levels in a while so I kinda had a feeling this was coming, but wow

Anyway, I’ll probably still continue to play it until it just straight up no longer works

Honestly, given that a Quincy’s whole power set is complete control over reshi, and that we can see Uryu take apart physical objects and turn them into reshi with his Letz Stil ability, it makes sense that with his power buff, he could do the opposite and create physical stuff with reshi. And what better for Uryu to create than clothes, or specifically, a kind of cape
