Watched Dirty Harry finally with @jaimehwatson (to see his boy Andrew Robinson Crime it up); and I was pretty surprised as to how mid it was overall given its reputation? Like I was genuinely expecting it to be persuasive copaganda, or at the very least a much cooler looking action film than it is. Instead it has a truly astounding lack of internal logic and kinda makes the cops look sad for letting this cackling unsubtle madman get away after the first 2 almost catching him. The one good thing i can say about it is its very "on location". They filmed that shit in San Francisco and by god they make the most of it.

Overall though, youd be better off watching a HK action police flick with a similar reputation
