I think if one horse fell out of the sky one time there would be thousands of news stories about "the mystery of the falling horse" and weeks of programming and a whole internet rabbit hole you could go down.
I also think if horses just fell of the sky randomly every once in a while we'd make an International Horsefall Association and Horsefall shelters and a company would be formed called Horsefall Solutions Incorporated who would sell you an alarm that will go off if the building you're in has a horse falling on it and we'd have idioms about someone dying to horsefall and we'd laugh about the thought because no one these days dies to horsefall even though 5,000 people die every year from a horse crushing them to death and standup comics will tell stories about the last time they had a horsefall in their city and one of your neighbors will have a story about the time that a horse fell on their roof and how they had to call the Horsefall guys to come get the horse off of their roof and Liberals would vote for a white man who wants to pass the Horse Removal act which makes horse removal a service paid for by the government while conservatives would vote for a white man who thinks you should pay for your own horse removal if it's on your property and there would be PSAs shown to children about how if a horse is on your roof you shouldn't try to move it because the roof could collapse but instead should call 911 if it's an emergency or your local horsefall department if it's not and it'll tell you that 2 in 5 horsefall deaths occur after the horse has already landed and there'll be a scandal about a man using Horse Removal funds to buy a yacht and you'd see ads every once in a while for overpriced window screens that will protect you from horse detritus seeping into your home and about how they're the only window screen strong enough to prevent teeth from breaking the window and to prove it they have a video of a horse tooth being launched at the screen at 100 mph and will show it with no damage afterwards and every once in a while you'll see a news story about how someone in a remote village that the anchor doesn't name in a country in Africa the anchor also doesn't name ate a horse that fell in their community and about how lowly and awful that person is for doing that and there'll be an opinion piece published about how horsefall is fucking insane and everyone who treats it as normal is crazy and everyone will point and laugh at the author and say that it's actually a much more complicated issue than that.
