“They’re always fighting about something. Tim almost lost an eye last wee-” Steph dodged a spoon.”-because of an argument about the best kind of donut.”
“I am speechle-” she dodged a plate this time. “How do you live like this?”
Steph shook her head and pinched between her eyes.
“I wish I knew. What I wanna really know is how Alfred does it.”
“Okay that’s it!” she exclaimed, “You, me! Breakfast at Starbucks! You have five minutes to get ready!”
Steph dodged another flying piece of food and nodded.
“You my dear, are a lifesaver.”

Steph eyed the candy before swiping it. Dang, he knew her weaknesses. She would tell Bruce when she got back. She planned to linger around for at least an hour. Become her own tour guide for the day. She didn’t drive all the way out here just to drive back.
“Alright, I’ll pass it on. Are you still coming to the ‘family dinner’ on Friday? Alfred said he’s making some sort of pasta thing.”
“I love his scampi recipe,” he said, expecting this aforementioned ‘family dinner’ to be to enough of his liking to encourage him to say ‘yes, definitely.’
Steph smirked teasingly.
“Alright, I’ll admit, I didn’t expect a straight answer. I’ll hide some leftovers for you if you don’t make it, how does that sound?”

Steph jumped over the couch and landed with a loud thump. She threw her arms around Dick.
“This is so cool! I’ve seen Bruce on the cover like, a million times, but never in this magazine!”
“Bruce is well known for what he does but he’s not exactly a good entertainer.” Dick let out a little laugh, flicking the magazine open as he was hugged. He patted her on the back, grinning.
“I don’t even remember doing this interview.”
Steph looked at Dick out of the side of her eye, throughly confused.
“How do you not remember? If some reporter stopped me in costume and tried to interview me- y’know if B allowed that kinda thing- I think I would remember it.”

Let me just say, thank you.
Thank you so much, you have no idea how much I needed that.
And I don’t say this in an awkward/shy/stalker way- but I have been following you for what feels like an age now, and your Steph is beautiful; for starters.
But for seconds, I was starting to feel, well… invisible.
I know I haven’t been the most active RP’r since I’ve been back at it (3 weeks), but when I write, I do always try to put my all into it.
Not for appreciation, not for attention, but because writing has always been a part of my identity. (So for anyone who doesn’t like my Babs- that’s fine, I get it, I do.)
And so when I was pouring my weekends into my muse and getting 3 threads, tops, as the fruits of my labor… I was starting to wonder what it was all for.
So thank you, @bleedingpurple, and the handful of others so far, who have done just that, and reminded me what it has all been for.
I can’t wait to put our thread into action either.

Stephanie tugged at her cape, brow creasing in frustration. Her cape had gotten pretty torn up within the last week or so, and as a result, was not as slick and able to slide over things, like chimneys. At the sound of a yell she stopped, giving her cape one last tug and racing off to the source.
“Oracle, come in. There seems to be a situation in the office building at the end of Crate street.” As she leapt from rooftop to rooftop, she waited for an answer.
“Oracle?” She questioned, only to receive no answer.
Cassandra clings to the blonde girlfriend while watching tv.
Stephanie giggled, gently placing a kiss on the other girl’s head.
“I think there would’ve been a jump scare at this poin- OH SHIT!”

Oh my gosh, you guys. I legit love all of you. You guys are so amazing. I can’t believe you guys have actually stuck with me and my weird response times. I haven’t been that active lately because my therapy has been really intense (but now it’s the weekend I’ll have some free time :D)
But guys, seriously. I have made so many new friends here, and I’m so grateful for each and every one of you. Each of you are so kind, and you’re all AMAZING writers! I’m honestly so lucky to have you guys. Oh no, I’m rambling. I’m gonna cut myself off here and get to the tagging so I don’t bore you guy. <3<3

Stephanie dropped the cooking spatula she had been holding.
“Um... I actually prefer purple.” Steph stuttered out.
This was... Not what she was expecting. Not at all. Nope. She had gotten a note from Tim, a very dirty one that made her gag. Did Tim not remember the last time she yelled at him for leaving a note in the open? But honestly, the stuff it had said was... Gross.
If she had taken the time to be rational, she would've realized that what was written on the note were many things she and Tim had discussed in private and decided to completely avoid.
However, her rage had taken over her rational mind. She had sped into the kitchen, completely ignoring the fighting boys and grabbing the closest painful kitchen object she could find: a metal spatula. She was so going to beat Tim’s ass into the ground. Oh boy was he going to be sorry.

What Damian failed to understand, is that it was in fact not Tim who had eaten the last Toaster Strudel, It had been Cass. The 3 boys were still in the kitchen, accusing the other and and on the brink of physically fighting.
On the other side of the manor, Cassandra had confronted Duke and asked him if he had seen her iPod. Together they had searched both her room and his. When Cass found her iPod in his room, she had asked him about it and read his body language to determine weather he was telling the truth or not. They had both shrugged and gone their separate ways, deciding not to become chess pieces to whoever had hidden the technology in the first place.
