i think one of the worst things the left wing internet ever did was push the idea that oppression is basically a virtue, and being oppressed is a sign of your morality. it has made it like…impossible for some of you to hold the idea that most people are privileged in some ways and oppressed in others. AND a lot of you seem to have it in your mind that terrible people cannot be oppressed, and that oppressed people cannot do terrible things, which is a dangerous rhetoric to hold imo.

In my eyes, the Myth of Sisiphus can easily be compared to something as human and mundane as being sick. I think the connection's pretty clear, actually-being sick almost feels like an uphill, never-ending battle. Not just because you're tired and delirious, but because it will always eventually happen again. Regardless of how well you take care of yourself-eventually you will fall sick once more. Not due to your own personal faults, but such is the way of life. And yet, you keep trying to stay healthy, pushing up the boulder even with the certianty that you face. And idk that's like-really beautiful.

So a common sale was Arizona Iced Teas in cans, 2 for a dollar. People would buy literal *cases* of their favorite flavor.

Once I was ringing up the cans for someone, who had like six. The cans were green.

I was a bit distracted ringing and putting cans in bags, engaging properly.

Grabbed a similarly sized and colored can of pringles. Brain did not register. Hand just went high up because Pringles weigh nothing compared to Arizona can
