Kia ora! I saw some of your art of your Māori character - are you Māori too? What is their name?

Kia ora! I am Māori! Nice to see another one of us in the wilds of tumblr 🇳🇿

Her name is Daisy! Nothing overly special. She’s a character of mine from a novel I’m sitting on. Daisy Hēni Baxter: a New Zealand national studying abroad in the UK who gets ‘outlandered’ into the 1920s. I thought it’d be fun to have a Māori girl "collide" with the British upper crust in a more conservative, ethno-nationalistic time for the UK.
