💔
I always judged those fans that embarass themselves ugly crying in front of an artist. But boy after that season finale if I was to meet Z in person I wouldn’t be able to behave. I would be a fucking mess. Rue meant a lot to me.
I didn’t even think about how Rue’s fate might affect future fan interactions with Zendaya until now and it honestly breaks my heart a little. Especially remembering how Zendaya talked about people sharing their own stories or stories about friends and family struggling with those issues with her. This was deeply personal for them.
It’s a heartbreaking ending but Rue’s legacy and the impact she had on people will live on for a long time. People are genuinely mourning Rue like she was a real person and I think that says everything about the depth and humanity Zendaya brought to her. She made Rue feel so painfully real that her loss feels real to people too. And that’s really a testament to her and how she imbued the character with so much vulnerability, humor and raw honesty that people truly saw themselves in her.
Z is the empath in chief 😄 and I think she would appreciate your honest reaction and feelings should you ever meet her 🫶
"Zendaya is just so grounded and generous and present, and she makes a scene about the person in front of her and kind of just puts everybody at ease," he says of the actress, who has played Rue since the show premiered in 2019. "I think I took a lot from her. I mean, she's one of the biggest stars in the world, but you wouldn't know it hanging out with her. She's just so down to earth. She just put everybody at ease to do their best work."

She wasn't joking when she said she is ZEN-daya. Her parents really gave her the perfect name, everyone is always saying she brings so much calm and ease to the set.
And it made me wonder who Amy Poehler talked to that told her great things about Zendaya and how she approaches her work.

Thank you, Rue. Let her memory be a blessing. Amen.
You know it's bad when I still can't get Rue out of my head.

'Reveals' made me chuckle 😄
But she is really so loved.
This is even funnier knowing they didn't have any scene together
