i apologize that it took me so long to get to this, and there's so many other asks about Cathedra/Bell Peppers/Milagro, so it's time to update. this is also the same update i have posted on my patreon, in case something doesn't make sense:
hey everyone
this message has been a long time coming, and i want to be transparent with all of you cuz you all are paying to be here, and especially to the ones who have been so patient, and loving, and kind enough to remain subscribed, even after i fell off with progress on Cathedra and the Bell Peppers trilogy, especially after hinting SO much of what was to come.
i cannot confidently say i will ever return to either one, and i'd like to explain why.
when i first started Bell Peppers and all the way to where Cathedra was put on hold, i was in a very abusive relationship with my now ex. Nick and Callie were my coping mechanism, my escape from how shitty and miserable my real life was. i poured what love and soul i had left into those stories because they were my relationship, essentially. that's how fucked up i was in the head at that time. that's why i was able to keep up for so long and make such consistent content- they were my source of personal happiness and intimacy.
so when i finally made it out of that relationship and began healing, and found my way into a new, healthy relationship that fulfilled me in the ways my previous one did not, i realized i didn't have a true passion for those stories, and i was just as equally, physically unable to finish them. i can't find the words for them anymore, and i find it so stressful at even thinking of trying to make some kind of content about them. in a weird way i will love them forever, but at the same time it's felt like i've mourned them and moved on. it hurts to look at them or read the older chapters cuz they bring back such dark memories and such strong emotions.
i'm sorry for everyone who has been waiting for an update or a continuation. i don't know if i will ever go back to them, but they'll stay where they are forever, at least. i'm sure here and there i'll draw them again, but for now, i don't want anyone to feel led on. Nick and Callie need to rest for a while. i still have a lot of healing to do.
this patreon will stay up, but please don't feel obligated to stay. it will be for whatever content i am able to produce, and i still plan to draw nsfw cuz i do enjoy doing that.
i appreciate and love everyone here, i can never thank you enough for putting up with my shit, and i know some of you who have followed me since the very, very beginning are here and have been here. i don't want to disappoint anyone but i know that's bound to happen, so i am sorry and thank you so much for the ones who are still here. i appreciate your understanding and patience infinitely.

We at The Fantastic Other have decided to do things a little differently and set a theme for our next writing contest. Weāve unanimously decided on the theme of injustice.
This year isnāt the start of the fight. It wonāt be the end. 2020 has been a unique experience for all of us. The endurance weāve been tasked with, and responsibilities āto our communities and to ourselvesā weāve been made to bear have been heavy, and imperative. What have you been seeing, thinking, feeling, and doing while the ideology of social justice has raised its head even further out to us to take hold of?
Write about it! Take solace in putting your experiences into words. Release the tension in your shoulders under all the weight and give it to the page.
