Quiet wins and Horror films
So I went on a little “single edition” side quest today and took myself to the cinema for the first time.
I watched Lee Cronin's The Mummy and it was so good! The story, the music, and the tension really pulled me in. It did not rely too much on jumpscares, but it still felt intense in a quiet way.
What made it more special was doing it alone. At first it felt a bit new, but as the movie went on, I forgot about everything else and just enjoyed the moment. No pressure, no need to talk, just me being there.
It's a good reminder that I can enjoy things on my own and still feel full. I do not always need company to have a good time. There was a soft kind of happiness when I walked out of the cinema, (I was literally smiling!) like i did something for myself.
Good horror movie and my first solo cinema date.
To many more solo side quests!
