I love old, traditional recipes. They are so specifically designed for the regions they originate from that cooking them comes naturally—it feels like entering a flow state.

When you cook them, you get this deep feeling of “yeah, that really makes sense.”

They are so practical: they only use what is easily available in that region, and they stretch ingredients for much longer, which makes everything a lot less complicated and stops you from getting overwhelmed with too many groceries.

Each culture has its core ingredients, and they are basically used in some way in almost every dish.
