for only $522 I can catch a 25 hour flight from JFK to Kuala Lumpur and once I’m there it’d only be an extra 3 hour drive to get to my friend’s city and then I could find well rated hotels for $40-60 a night so really the only thing stopping me at this point is my own cowardice

Urgent news from the Emperor!

Don’t worry, it’s good news. Wishes in Pen is now 10% funded - and the Emperor’s First Vassals have been chosen! (Translation: the S$22 tier has been sold out! You guys are amazing!)

By the way, if you’ve already contributed but want to add on postcards or keychains, all you have to do is add $8 (USD) for the keychains and $5 (USD) for the postcards, plus $5 for the basic global shipping cost! :)

All in all, progress is going well, but that doesn’t mean we can rest just yet!

The team has received your feedback and we are hammering away at those fixes! So far…

We’re implementing a new option that lets you toggle off animated backgrounds and MC’s sprite;

We’re increasing UI functionality - adding the Back button and an option to return to the main menu; and

Apparently, there’s an issue of Memory Leak for Nvidia Graphics Cards! This has been reported to the creator of Ren'Py, and a fix is on its way!

Animated Sprites and Backgrounds!

As we quickly work on those character tidbits we promised, here’s a little WIP for you guys to take a look at! 

We’ll be having animated backgrounds and sprites in the game! How exciting is that?! \o/ We actually weren’t sure whether this was a function we’d be able to implement (specifically the animated sprites), but after a couple of tries and tweaking… We managed to do it!
