The request is to write a short fanfic as an alternate ending to Tyril & Anastasia's route from the Otome Visual Novel "Even if Tempest."

I was not familiar with the source material initially but after watching some playthroughs for refs, I must say that I got pretty hooked with the story. 😳

Apocalyptic Dream, or ApoYume for short, is a dual-protagonist otome visual novel set during a zombie outbreak. You play as twins Toshiro and Mikuru Aikyo, intermittently swapping POV.  Between the two, there are a total of 10 Love Interest (LI) routes, with one LI being bisexual (like Mikuru herself) and possible to romance as either twin.

Mikuru is psychic, and thanks to that mixed bag of a gift, she dreams of the impending disaster shortly before things become out of hand. The head start she and her close friends are granted helps them have a leg up on what's to come, but by no means does it serve as plot armor - it is possible for every single character to die.

The ApoYume demo is available to play here! The kickstarter has already started and lasts until September 5th. On top of pledging for the game, there’s a bunch of official merchandise and Midnight Springs designs that can be pledged for!

So if you’re interested in supporting the development of ApoYume, but don’t really play VN or otome games, you can totally just pledge for the merch above!
