I am a fictionkin fictive (I use both labels for myself) of Hornet, from the Hollow Knight games. This is my own blog, but the blog I share with the rest of my system is available upon request. I enjoy being treated like my source (to an extent, remember that I'm still a real person), so feel free to ask me any questions you would have for Hornet, if you'd like! I'm not good at rp, but I love to answer questions. Sourcemates please interact :)

I welcome all interaction, with the following caveats:

-I would prefer to have only sfw and platonic interactions, as I'm not looking for a romantic relationship. Hornet selfshippers may interact, but please don't flirt with me. I do enjoy platonic and familial affection, though!

-Hornet kin doubles may interact as well, but if you're another Hornet who doesn't want doubles, please follow your own DNI. I don't want to argue with anyone.

-This blog is pro-endo. Anti-endos will be blocked.

sometimes liking a musician is such a core psrt of your personality that you just forget to listen to the music they make and then you listen to it again and youre like Waittttt has anyone heard of this

I've found that when I'm feeling depressed and lethargic, isolating myself and scrolling for hours only makes me more depressed and lethargic. So, here's some stuff that works for me, a little bit:

- Spending time with my family

- Playing video games instead of scrolling

- Watching movies instead of youtube

- Riding my bike (doesn't matter where)

- Writing stories (even if it's bad, just forcing myself to write)

- Taking a shower

This is really just a personal record, but I wanted to share it because it took me too long to really realize. The best way to reduce the harm that constant doomscrolling does to me is to just force myself into any other task, even if that task is just consuming something other than a social media feed. I don't think social media is evil, but I do think that it makes my mental health go from bad to worse when I'm already not feeling good. And whenever I distract myself, even with something basic, the bad feelings start to fade away a little.

What did find in woods? - Hollow

When I went camping? I found a lot! I explored a river that I tried to wade in but found it too cold, and went on a hike to a mountain lake. I even went to do a rock-climbing ropes course called the Via Ferrata, which was challenging but a lot of fun, and actually reminded me a lot of the platforming in hollow knight and silksong. I had a great time getting out into nature with some of my friends! Thank you for asking, Hollow :)
