Day 24: Nigthlife
After a quick nap hit the clubssss. Megan was in town and we went to our fav bars, George Payne and Dow Jones, then went to Opium. Katy was in flip flops (silly nilly) so at first could not get in. We try the back, which ends up being the VIP section, and Safety Stu comes through!! He pays for us all to get into the VIP and we finally meet the infamous Aashi. Whatta night.
Day 24: Tibadabadooo
Officially Mount Tibidabo, it was beautiful views but had nothing on Montserrat. It was still a fun adventure with half the fam
Day 22: Grasshopper
Began learning yet another program: Grasshopper and holy shizzzz so much easier than Matlab. Oh and then he gave my like three other project to do and learn. thank you. We did then went to classic George Payne with the fam and Jason managed to ruin his hand :)
Day 19: All Alone
when Dan and Ryan skip and you're the only one there... Bonding with Mohsen!!!! It was interesting to say the least. The strangest thing was the straight up question of my political affiliations... aka voting for Trump???! But I did get the best Spanish food I've had yet courtesy of Ioanna. Homemade chicken stuff peppers 😋
nice nice nice
nice views
Some nice food in Nice
Day 17-18: Weekend in Nice
Saturday we roamed the streets and went to Castle Hill with one of the most amazing views (the pictures do the talking). Had a lovely dinner with out new son Trey. PSA hid the olive oil and bring a muzzle. Sunday we got some dank crepes and talked to some drunk Irish dudes. The euro cup is absolutely insane and very happy we left just in time to miss the riots. Fried red, we chilled in the airport and pissed off the lady next to us on the plane with our delirious laughing. Sorry you can't sit with us RYN!!!!
Day 16: NIZAAA
Absolutely, painstakingly, BEAUTIFUL. Nice is picture perfect with pebble shores, crystal clear waters, and mountain wrap around background. We arrived and went straight to the beach. The pebbles are beautiful but def NOT comfy for tanning or walking. We then arrived in our very modern apartment and it is so nice so have a real shower and mirrors!!! Got dressed to the nines to hit the clubsssss jk went to Monte Carlo and spent 15 on one absolute shot... Gambling was not on the cards for me but it was beautiful and fun to watch the guys lose :)
meet the new bff KT and her bf!!!
got tickled by some fishies!!
Au revoir Barça, off to France!!
Day 12: DEATH
After spending a beautiful, relaxing Sunday on the beach, having some great chinese for dinner, and to top off gelato for dessert. Next thing I know, non stop vomit train from 4 am until the afternoon. Called Ellen crying, went to the hospital crying, liz arrived... started crying. If you go abroad and don’t get food poisoning, did you really go abroad?? Dw they pumped me up with some IV and anti nausea and now I’m on three meds and feelin like the hulk (jk still haven’t left bed). Cheers to beautiful days in barca ¡¡!!
Gondola ride down Montserrat
Montserrat hike.... cheese and honey dessert is not recommended
Day 10: Montserrat
Took the train to Montserrat today. First attempt = fail. We, the fam, sprinted to catch a train and turns out it twas the wrong one. We waited an hour for the right one but busied ourselves playing ninja. Took the Gondola up the majority of the mountain, thank god since its 1,200+ meters to the top. Gandered around and made friends with a vendor. He gave us amble samples of cheese and wine through this weird contraption. Oh and TONS of honey. We then hiked, more liked climbed, up the rest of the mountain. Lost Liz and Katy half way up but the views were well worth it. Hit the clubs later that night and finally saw the sunrise, not from the beach yet but at least from our balcony.
