Once I was looking after this 4 year old boy and I guess we were talking Disney princesses and he said "your hair is long and pretty, like-" and I'm fully expecting the kid to say Rapunzel because I'm blue eyed with blonde hair past my hips and I get it all the time and he ends with "-Moana!" And I am shocked. I think back on it all the time that this kid fully looked past race and colour and just related me to a princess based on how frizzy and poofy my hair can be.

He then followed that up by saying "I should cut it!" And it was that day I decided we were never doing any arts and crafts that involved scissors together

Equality

Okay let's talk about something. You know why women are treated differently? It all started with a deep respect and love for women. Practically worship. You know why? A man can be a father of many unborn children. A woman can only be mother of usually one, sometimes a bit more, but never more than a few. People recognized this and knew protecting women was their best way of carrying on the human race way back when. But somehow, along the way, it got twisted into this, "women can't protect themselves, women aren't intelligent, women can't do things themselves, women are lesser than" mentality, which is absolutely insane. K so a few ancestors got it wrong however long ago. That's no excuse for women to be treated badly. We are equal, we have always been equal, and we deserve to be treated as such. And if you think we are, then do some learning cause clearly you don't know enough about the world.
