It had been awhile, a long while, since Apple had seen anyone. Which wasn’t all that surprising. His energy was considerably drained. It was difficult to even muster the energy to get out of bed.
It wasn’t that surprising to him when he lost contact with friends. He didn’t have the energy to communicate with them. Which, wasn’t fair to his friends, but it’s better to not have dragged anyone down with him.
It wasn’t surprising that days dragged on with little to no inspiration. It wasn’t surprising at all.
The real surprise was opening his eyes actually to being in the dome. Pain ignited his nerves in a familiar manner. Some part of him was in denial, this had to be a dream. The one he’s relived a few times in nightmares. Or when a kitchen knife spooks him. A few panic attacks or so...
But this was the real deal. Some horrible reset.
His vision is blurry. It’s difficult to breathe.
Rolling over he tries to drag himself closer to the door, this time he actually has something to live for, but he’s too weak to even drag himself across the floor. After a wheeze, he coughs, blood coming out of his mouth and rolling down his chin. Slashes litter his whole body. And there’s a bloody hole to the left of his gem... Where someone had narrowly missed shattering him with the breaking point.
He can feel his memories of the Clutter Dimension fading, he’s desperately clinging to them. But they’re scattering away in the forms of jagged butterflies.
This isn’t the way he wants to die. This isn’t peaceful at all.

It's going to be okay,i promise I'll help you.
Being moved hurt, but he wasn’t about to complain. He weakly leaned closer to Peach, trying to make it easier for the other to carry him. Keeping his eyes closed to ignore the blood he knows is dripping to the floor.
His hand is covering the wound on his stomach, as though it’ll somehow make the whole situation easier. In the very least, it’s a little less gore for Peach to have to look at.
“I.. I’m sorry.. I..”
