It’ll still be the same Maz, but her name will be Merit, and her backstory will be changed a bit.

Her name is Merit (full: Meritmut). She's Egyptian, growing up in a remote village. Her grandmother is the leader of the Cult of Sekhmet, which survives into the modern day. From her mother's side (which is closer to the Novhrets) she and her sister Viviane recieve the craving for blood. Merit's bloodthirst, however, is enhanced by the fact that she is choses to be Sekhmet's vessel on Earth. Tari and her twin Amosa are two of her seven arrrows. At the age of 18 (Tari and Amosa being several years younger and in the care of their older cousin), Merit moves to America. Viviane has a daughter named Marcy. Merit has a twin of her own named Aaron, who was raised alongside Viviane by their father in America. He harbors no love for his twin and little for his older sister.
