My family and I are living in extremely difficult humanitarian conditions. My father is unable to work, so I have become the sole provider for my family despite having very limited resources.

What hurts me the most is my sister Sarah's situation. She has a disability and needs ongoing medical treatment, medication, and care. Unfortunately, I can no longer afford to provide her with the basic support she needs. It breaks my heart every day to see her suffering while I am unable to help her.🥹🙏🏼

I once dreamed of completing my university education and building a career in my field, but the circumstances forced me to put my dreams aside. Now, my only goal is to provide for my family and do everything I can to care for my sister.

A world where Evan survives this cycle for a lot longer than any of his friends. Where Habit leaves him for years - this time torturing him with the wonder of when he'd be back. If he ever would be. Evan eventually falls into a rhythm, just living out his days. There's nothing else he can do.

He wakes up one morning. It's late, he slept in. The sub is shining through the blinds, casting onto his face. It's warm. The room is glowing. The sheets are soft against his skin, pillows cool as he tucks his arms under them and stretches.

Everything is... soft. He's aware of the dread he's been feeling, but can't remember why. Everything is alright, actually - what was he ever afraid of? He'd be fine. Live. Eat. There's so many good things in his life - he nearly let's out a genuine laugh at how ridiculously upset he's been lately. Now that he's awake, he figures he should get up. Go make breakfast. As far as he could remember he had all the ingredients to make his favorite.

Which is when he sat up, confusion and realization hitting him in a nauseating wave. Steph was dead, they all were. He was alone. It's been years since he's seen any of their faces, and they're starting to get blurry - what did they really look like?? How much was just a figment of his imagination, his mind blurring and contortions their faces? He wasn't even in his old house, anymore. Why did he ever think such things?
