I tried to "remove" the dead skin once by scrubbing and shaving it off and it was the most agonizing day of my life I was crying in pain everything was stinging.

i hate to say it but your $50 piano skirt and your $35 babydoll top from SHEIN does NOT make you whimsical, but in fact, actually the tie dye, the DIY, the hand made trinkets, the upcycled clothing, the thrifted pieces, the hand me downs, the crotcheted, the self made, the borrowed outfits that make a person whimsical.

To be whimsical is to be anti consumerism, eco friendly and expressive through what you wear. It's not supposed to be an "aesthetic", its a way of living.

recently I think a switch flipped in my brain because now every time I go on amazon or to the mall or basically just any shopping, it all just looks like trash. literal trash. everything is just plastic junk. landfill core. all the clothes are ugly plastic fast fashion trends. there's no soul or character in anything. I look at these heaps and heaps of things and all I feel is disgust.
