2023-11-18 goal: learn splits.
Update 2023-12-29 slinky progress is progressing successfully, splits not even close. Slinkiness still improving and I'm being noticed for being super flexible. Not managing the splits so far.
Update 2024-04-06 perfect backbend bridge on the forearms. I can do a bridge but I need to improve it. And learn forearm stand.
2024-03-10 running - training for a 5km run: goal is 5km in under 25 mins to beat dad's result. Attempt to run: 12:30mins @ 12kmph, and then 15:00, 17:30, 20:00, 22:30 and 25:00. Attempt again if not successful. Time till 2024-05-01. As of 2024-04-06 we have less than a month but I am attempting at least something towards this goal a week, I ditched the treadmill a bit, started training for rollerskating in a week. I run 2km in 10:03 in the streets (in dad's shoes) on Easter Monday and a similarly good 2k in about 10:48 on Easter Sunday (watch crashed, don't have the record, just remember seeing 10-something on the screen), it's a 5:02 pace and it's a fantastic result for me.
2024-04-01: rollerskating season officially open - means I started training on Easter Monday. Goal is to improve my last year's personal best at a rollerskating marathon by 15 minutes. This is a big goal. There are some chances for it to happen if the stars align.
Remember to rest! I do exercise a lot and I need to be rested for it to be enjoyable.
2024 New Year's resolutions:
don't eat till sick, okay, there's progress, and regress.
practice push-ups (broke my arm in January slowly gonna go back to it now as arm is mostly healed) In week 9. from the injury I started doing female pushups again. 2024-06-14 no progress.
learn splits (more specific stretching), didn't get to it yet. 2024-06-14 I can lift a leg up holing it like a ballerina, it's neat.
get to 15% body fat ASAP (I'm giving it max 3 months tbh, as long as I stop craving trash food when protein deficient) I think there is progress but the goal is now 14%. [2023-12-28 18.8%bf, 2024-03-14 16.2%bf we're getting there: 2kg of muscle gained, 0.9kg of fat lost.] I still want 14%.
eat those 100+ protein per day EVERY DAY - the basis. NEED TO PLAN AHEAD WHEN I'M GONNA EAT. Doing well. Currently going way over, idk why.
try to give 3 chances to every binge urge to stop it, regardless of the mood (forgetting but not too bad) 2024-06-14 I'm having fewer total loss of control binges, don't even remeber many but overall endless cravings.
continue excessive physical activity (gym daily, running, year-round cycling, add more swimming+rollerskating) so far gym + running. 2024-03-31 +rollerskating +swimming +cycling. 2024-06-14 +MTB +road cycling +triathlon.
Begin weight training on my own at the gym or at home forgot entirely 2024-04-06 im ripped now and the goal is to sculpt with lower weight and more reps. Not doing shit at home.
Not eat more than I burn per day, as long as I'm building muscle reaching the TDEE is totally fine. No idea, stopped paying attention to the numbers partially, got an average of a bit over 2300 kcal a day. I kept eating excessively and gained a lot of weight. 2024-06-14 I keep gaining and it's horrendous. TDEE still the same but I keep eating too much. Sweets make me feel shitty physically.
Partially I'm hoping that the overexercising will once more pull me out of depression, I remember it played a massive role in fixing me back in 2019. 2019 was one of the best years I had that I remeber of too. OKAY I NOTED IMPROVEMENT BUT THE TRAINER Z. PICKED ON ME 2024-03-07 ASKING IF I'M NOT EXERCISING TOO MUCH AND IF I'M EATING AND THAT SHE SEES IT AS A COMPENSATORY BEHAVIOUR AND THAT I'M SUPPOSED TO REST MORE. And I'm not really planning to change that much for now... She gave me "the look" . A month has passed since and I feel awkward af around her but training the sane or more but differently. 2024-06-14: 3 months have passed and I feel her look on me from time to time. Mentally better but might snap any moment when not busy exercising.
Upkeep my current running form - first goal is to run a 10km in under 57:00:00. Focusing on 5k for now, then half marathon 21km. 10k too but after the 5km. Nope, straight for half marathon, never-ending knee/left-right hip pains make me not feel like running at all.
Sub-2h half marathon. With zero training. It must be magic if it happens.
5km run in under 00h25min. Achieved May 2024.
Start an AFF course. Still dreaming.
Took up road cycling. Goal to do about 100km a week in 2-3 sessions. One social group, one interval, one just racing myself. It's speeeeeeed.
Also somewhat got into cross-country MTB, it's crazy fun, not speedy but heckin' crazy.
