So, I know a lot of people are bittersweet about the Caryl ending and, I get it, your feelings are valid, buy I don't share them.

They promised us Caryl would be endgame. And that's exactly what we got.

CARYL WAS ENDGAME.

The fact that Daryl was the first one to say "I love you", looking straight into her eyes, is SO TELLING. In 12 years, we never heard those words from Daryl. And now he's here, telling them to Carol. She of course reciprocates and tells him he loves him too.

I know some of you wanted them to kiss, and maybe 15-year-old me would've wanted that too, but right now? I'm fine with what we got.

We don't need to be physical, they're beyond that. They're each other's safe place and will always return to be with the other. That was already demonstrated when Carol was with Ezekiel, Daryl never truly left her.

Platonic or not, they're soulmates. Will always be.
