Buckle up, I have a lot to say about this chapter
So, first of all it looks like they didn't get to meet Rakta back in 222.
RC does in fact have tattoos to indicate they're part of the group, and they were proudly showing them off, I guess the lack of a coat on some of them either means a lower position in the hierarchy or they're meant to blend in easier.
The possibility of Suo having a RC tattoo on his neck, back or shoulder is increasing exponentially.
I love how Rakta wanted to question the three men chasing the kid first, he does not play about children at all.
Also, Rakta looks so imposing but also so young from certain angles, I'm betting he's around Ume's age.
Love how Hiragi is still the voice of reason and Ume comforted the kid and how our boys were gearing up to see violence and Rakta looked so intimidating and then he just turns out to be so good with kids.
He's really so good with the kid, they were expecting him to be violent and he just knelt to the kid's height and talked to him gently, understanding his situation (which further proves they have a food scarcity and economic crisis issue) and firmly but gently telling him he still shouldn't steal.
The boys were so shocked, because RC looks intimidating and Endo said they were violent and there were unsavoury rumours, and they turn out to be kind to their people and care a lot.
I can't with how surprised Rakta was at Umemiya offering to buy the food the kid had stolen, he's definitely going to hear them out and consider some stuff for sure.
Ume is so kind and so used to kids himself, truly Rakta and Ume will probably relate to each other somewhat.
Rakta saw the pass in Ume's back pocket, he's definitely going to ask about that, the guys being mad at Umemiya offering to buy the food and hitting him, because they think it's a pity thing since they clearly don't speak Japanese.
Ume is so damn kind for real
Oh, the way RC doesn't play about violence at all and they don't even threaten violence themselves, people are scared enough to run and I'm betting it's to do with previous offenders receiving some sort of punishment of some kind. But also, I feel like I understand Suo so much more now, the way what bothered him about Obiki was that he saw violence as fun and we trampled into other people's territory to cause harm... Much to think about here .
Rakta looks so in disbelief, and it's when he loses that seriousness that he looks more tired
Ume will make me cry one day from how kind he is, and the boy spoke Japanese.
One of the guys by Rakta was the guy by him in 222.
Rakta looks so contemplative as Ume tells the kid to ask RC for help and I just know they don't have the money to do what Ume just did, all they can offer is some food at the dojo for dinner. He's definitely so aware of their "shortcomings" as RC right now.
They've definitely built some bridge for communication this chapter.
And I won't shut up about how RC is not violent and Rakta is a sweetheart despite his general demeanor and face, he's just tired and has responsibilities.
Also, I think this is a play on the Shishitoren arc again and Umemiya being able to see that these guys care despite their demeanor just like Suo when he saw him fight Kanuma.
Still no Suo but I have a feeling we'll see him very soon
