So like, BNHA society may have put All Might on a stupid high pedestal, but the narrative puts Bakugou on an even higher, even stupider pedestal

I’m just saying, you have two characters who have both made mistakes that have negatively impacted Izuku, and one of them is narratively made to recognize that he made these mistakes because he’s imperfect and jumped into things too recklessly.

The other is Bakugou

No I don’t actually think that invalidates the point, because All Might is treated like an actual person who makes actual mistakes independently of outside influence, while most if not all of Bakugou’s flaws are shoved on to Izuku like they’re somehow his responsibility

GDI the only thing Izuku ever did ‘wrong’ in their relationship was assume that Bakugou could, in fact, get brain damage from falling and hitting his head.

Oh, that and not immediately drop all of his own dreams to fuel Bakugou’s ego. Which, you know, he would have been dissatisfied with anyways, if his reaction to Todoroki is any indication.

#Izuku did NOTHING wrong when it comes to his relationship with Bakugou. Izuku is the one who put in ALL the effort to try and make things better.

Izuku had to fight tooth and nail to even get an inch with Bakugou and even then every move forward in their relationship had Izuku get beat down and punished. Izuku isn’t responsible for any of the animosity in their relationship so I will thank the narrative very much to STOP saying otherwise.

once a girl reported me to an administrator at school bc i was breaking dresscode and she didnt like me. so i pushed her down the stairs. i just kept walking and i dont think she saw me and i never got caught. i know she got very seriously injured and they had to call an ambulance and she transferred schools bc she knew SOMEONE pushed her and she didnt feel safe. ive never regretted it. its been years since i graduated and im on mood stabilizers now, but sometimes when someone is testing my patience i calm myself down by thinking about how good it felt to snap once and how i cant do that again bc i would go to prison probably

Honestly I should talk about the ace experience more. I don’t see enough. Like–obviously it’s dehumanizing to be repeatedly compared to robots or aliens but uh…sometimes it feels like that??
