She taps the symbol with the pen, before jabbing the pen at Barbara. “Yes,” Barbara says, a little surprised, “that's me.”

On the topic of Superman (2025), it's so important to me how the Kents are depicted. You can tell that they genuinely love their boy so damn much from the flashbacks at the end and the way they interact on screen.

Shout out to Eve Teschmacher tho. She realized her boyfriend was a piece of shit and that she was in extreme danger, and she managed to gather everything needed to take him down without him catching on until it was too late.

I actually really like the fact that it's the Justice Gang who shows up instead of Superman because I feel like it really emphasises that Superman is the hero of heroes - that his kindness is enough to inspire others to do what's morally right and not dismiss it as "not their problem"
