I know this trophy is supposed to represent a triathlon, but it looks like a cyclist award for attacking pedestrians

There's a new mural in Szczecin
You forgot to add the best thing about it
Sometimes we’re unsatisfied with a thing we made because when it only existed in our head, we saw all the things it could have been and when it’s done we know all the things that it isn’t, but we can’t see the way it expands into a million new things when someone else unpacks it in their head.
"app" is without a doubt one of the deepest evils of the human race. "hello. would you like to be expected to have a bespoke piece of software for every single Brand you might theoretically interact with in a day" <- statement dreamed up by someone who should be drawn and quartered
"It's better in the app!"
That's embarrassing. Make your website better

A basic point of Solarpunk is it's focus on local communities. So, get to know your communities!
Local Politics
How does your local Govenment work? Who are the people involved in it?
What is the main political climate and view in your area?
What are the most active community organisations?
What are Grasrootmovements in your areas?
Are there known leftist organisations or communities?
Local Infrastrucure
Libraries and Archives
independent buisnesses like bakerys, bookstores etc
central community centres
Thrift stores
Nature preservation centres or organisations
Food kitchens
package-free and bulk stores
Local Newspapers
Bus lines and scedules
Bike repair shops
Queer Bars and Centres
Tailors and shoe repair shops
abandoned or empty buildings/ properites
Local History
How did people live in your area 50 Years ago? 100? 200? 500? What are their trades, culture, how did they get their food?
What is the geological and ecological history of your area? The quality of the soil? The availability of water? Local Plants?
What are some major historical events your area went through? How did they shape the peoples point of view?
What are the oldest buildings in Town? Research the architecture and building materials, as they commonly are localy sourced and help with sustainable building in your area!
These are just some ideas so please feel free to add!
Many years ago I heard a song where an angel visits a church only to realize it has been abandoned, but instead of getting sad it is delighted to see that God’s creation has been able to reclaim it and calls it the most pure and holy church it has seen in a long time.
Even though I’m not religious I always thought it was a beautiful idea and finally decided to draw it.
I have a new favourite batshit rail idea
Please build it for the funny please please please
You're right. I SHOULD be able to take the train from Minneapolis to Berlin.
imo the term "walkable" in "walkable cities" should be understood to mean "wheelchair accessible" as well, not just literally "possible to walk in". the act of walking in a city doesn't automatically make it walkable
It has come to my attention that it’s not a common “belief” in most countries that the weather on your birthday is indicative of how good or bad you’ve been all year.
When I say belief I don’t actually mean that people in Denmark truly believe it. It’s more like a funny thing you can say like “The sun is shining so I’ve been good” or “Its not my fault its raining. Must be all the other people who have their birthday today”
As someone who was born in December I’ve apparently never been good a day in my life according to the weather while people who were born in late summer are apparently angels walking the earth.
