Blue Little Doggo

I'm new at this. Not really sure what people do here. I was advised to post my artwork here. They're not super neat or anything; just things I draw when I'm distraught mostly.

Guess who! Yup, it’s my friend! We’re the invincible duo! If you can’t tell from my build, I’m just pure DPS with 50 Str. So it’s up to Combat Corpse here to heal, tank, and crowd control.

I played and finished Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin within 2 weeks, but only the vanilla part, with a buddy of mine Cheebi! So here’s a shoutout to him for playing with me and for waiting on me as I draw this. 

I absolutely loved this game! Actually, I need more of it. Hope I get to play the 3rd one someday.

The Wolf That Could Have Been

Something I found today made me want to draw this so I did.

Gravity

I...I don’t even know what to say about this one. I would call it “Orbit”. I’m not sure if it’s obvious but, I am dealing with some form of depression and anxiety. I have been for a couple years at least. I turn to writing and drawing when I am overwhelmed. So don’t mind me if I post seemingly random pictures with lots of words on them. Also thinking of editing this one. This is a bit rough.

The quotations are lyrics from Starset’s song Gravity Of You. I’m listening to their new album lately so most of my current inspiration comes from them. Wish I can have their new album. I bought the MP3 of the first one :)

I also obviously need help with Tumblr’s resolution settings.

In this one, I was going for some tricks or creativity *facepalm*. I call it Mirage because it’s not what it seems like. Here’s a hint: you need to print it out.

How Moon Moon Came To Be

In the same night I drew the previous one, I drew these two. Along with drawing, I also talked to a close friend, which lead to us getting silly and making up characters and stories. Here is how they came to be: For the first one, I held my pen but could not put down anything specific right after finishing the previous piece. And so I started doing the whole “MSPaint before the internet” thing. I drew random lines and started coloring using the paint bucket tool. My friend told me I could draw a face on it so I did. I made a derpy face and said “Moon Moon” when he asked what I was drawing because both Moon Moon and this face are derpy.  For the second one, somehow our conversation turned to the way I was playing a video game prior. In that game, Helldivers, I drove one of those mechas and walked backwards. I said, “Hey, look, I’m doing the moonwalk. Wait, no, I’m doing the <insert planet name here> walk.” My friend wouldn’t let that go and said Moon Moon could be that character that does a ‘walk’ at a place and calls it the wrong name. So we came up with, Moon Moon doing a Moscow Walk in Paris. I might need a new name for it. What do you think?

This is one of the earliest pieces I drew while I was overwhelmed with thoughts and emotions. Using art as an escape or a way to calm my mind is a new thing for me. While I have all that energy inside me I thought it’d be nice to see how it would look like materialized. So far it’s been helpful.

This was my second finished drawing since this new, sudden vigor to draw again (I used to draw all the time as a child). I call it “All Time Low” based on a song of the same title by Jon Bellion. It’s my personal favorite so far :)

So I started learning PaintTool SAI December last year. This was my first ever drawing that I finished around the end of the year I believe. I call it “Belong” based on a song with the same name. It’s EDM. In this one I actually drew the lady first and squeezed it into the eye. Bad approach, I know v.v
