me and my brother (the one who made the gam gam bit joke) were up chatting about daredevil again and he came up with a funny idea

matt and foggy who fight crime together as “daredevil” and his sidekick “the fog”

foggy doesn’t actually fight the criminals but matt will dramatically declare “the fog is coming”, foggy will throw down a smoke bomb, and matt will fight amidst the smoke while foggy goes to hide around a corner and hype matt up

#This would be so funny and would fix me #I can imagine foggy talking to matt and saying he needs more protection #somehow they come up with this and it genuinely works #I am so bad at completing my art works but I'll try my best trust #does it work bc “the fog” is actually effective or because matt feels more like someone's in his corner? nobody knows (its both)#Also helps foggy bc he can keep more of an eye on matt and feel like he's actually helping #The criminals are so fed up with it #By the time the smoke clears and they're hacking up their lungs they're all already on the floor and hearing sirens #matt murdock #daredevil #foggy nelson #mattfoggy #< prev tags #prev is right

i appreciate all fanfic writers so so much. if ur a fanfic writer please read this.

fanfics always make me feel so much better after a crappy day. being able to escape into a world that u love so much is such a gift. every single day, fic writers are coming home after working hard at a job or at school or doing something mentally/physically straining. and they write stories for us to immerse ourselves in. they cultivate characters that are open ended enough for us to be able to imagine ourselves in that place. i can honestly say that most of the fanfics i read are better than the books ive read. i’m so appreciative of all the fanfic writers, no matter what fandom or ship u write for. ur making so many people so happy. we as readers love u soso much!
