Affection: How do they show their love and affection? How intense would it get?
Dr. Facilier seems to be an acts-of-service kind of guy. In earlier stages of his obsession, he might perform spiritual rituals or things that seem more psychic. Things like tarot readings, palm readings, or other things he says even a “two-bit medium can do”. As he falls deeper into obsession, he shows his darker magic ability. You would likely meet his “friends” at that point. He’d start teaching you Voodoo. Not how to do it, but the principles. But as I mentioned, acts of service. He likes being a smooth-talking gentleman for you, so he’ll open doors, make you meals (though this is more so you can’t use a knife or other kitchenware against him), and even get stuff off of tall shelves for you.
Blood: How messy are they willing to get when it comes to their darling?
He isn’t the one getting bloody! His friends on the other side will though. In all seriousness, though, if someone becomes a threat in Facilier’s eyes, he will cut deals and push people till they aren’t an issue anymore.
Cruelty: How would they treat their darling once abducted? Would they mock them?
I would like to believe that overall he’s polite. I mean, of course, if you do some dumb shit like attempt to run away (not even Mama Odie could save you in Facilier's eyes), he’s gonna mock and make fun of you. He’s polite in part because he believes people fall into line more easily when he plays nice. Don’t get him wrong though. He can be very cruel when the time calls for it.
Darling: Aside from abduction, would they do anything against their darling’s will?
I think he may take your blood for some weird Voodoo ritual that binds you to him, he may isolate you, or even force you to cut contact with any friends or family.
Exposed: How much of their heart do they bare to their darling? How vulnerable are they when it comes to their darling?
You have his heart in your hands Cher! All you have to do is accept him and he’ll be whatever you want him to be! That’s what he tells you at least. He keeps hidden the more sinister side of himself; however, he may tell you about his life before becoming the voodoo man.
Fight: How would they feel if their darling fought back?
I think he’s more amused than anything. You really think YOU can beat him? Be honest with yourself. He’d prefer you not fight, but it’s still amusing when you do.
Game: Is this a game to them? How much would they enjoy watching their darling try to escape?
Yes! He loves the chase and showing off to you just how powerful his friends are. The chase is fun to him, and he knows he’ll win, so why would you ever try to fight him?
Hell: What would be their darling’s worst experience with them?
Easily when you met his friends for the first time. You had just been freshly kidnapped and were already terrified of this man. Then he busted out into some creepy ass musical number. Where was that music coming from? Then you see shadows dancing on the walls and you’re suddenly bound to a chair and can’t move. It was horrible.
Ideals: What kind of future do they have in mind for/with their darling?
Facilier wants you and him at the top of New Orleans! No looking overlooked by the rich assholes who run the city.
Jealousy: Do they get jealous? Do they lash out or find a way to cope?
Oh yeah. In his eyes, he’s the best. He’s at the top of his game and will run New Orleans one day so why the hell are you talking to other people rather than him? It's complete bullshit, and you need to get back to his side before a “tragic” accident happens.
Kisses: How do they act around or with their darling?
Believe it or not, he does want a connection. He is trying to find that in you but it is so hard when all you do is struggle and fight him at every turn! He wants to have a future with you and be happy. He will attempt to play the “normal” 1920’s husband, but if you keep fighting him he’s gonna fly off the handle!
Love letters: How would they go about courting or approaching their darling?
He starts off slow, the standard 1920’s flowers, kissing your hand, and doing an occasional magic trick. As you get closer, though, you start to realize his affection is getting intense. Always walking you home, getting you baubles that look occult, and always being in your personal space. The more you pull away, the closer you seem to come. Till you’re trapped in his web.
Mask: Are their true colors drastically different from the way they act around everyone else?
Probably not, he’s equally as smug and smooth-talking. It apparently doesn’t have an off switch.
Naughty: How would they punish their darling?
He makes sure his shadow keeps an eye on you, does weird voodoo shit and he denies affection.
Oppression: How many rights would they take away from their darling?
He actually doesn’t seem like the type to take your rights away. He may manipulate you into choosing the outcome he wants but he won’t force you.
Patience: How patient are they with their darling?
He knew that coming into this, it would be difficult, but it’s okay! He’s patient and will be there regardless of how long you make him wait.
Quit: If their darling dies, leaves, or successfully escapes, would they ever be able to move on?
If his darling dies, he is gonna be heartbroken, of course; however, he has connections to the other side. You won’t escape him. Even in death. If you escape he’ll have his friends hunt you down and bring you back kicking and screaming. You're only safe with Mama Odie.
Regret: Would they ever feel guilty about abducting their darling? Would they ever let their darling go?
He would not feel bad at all. He wouldn’t ever let you go. He’s gone through so much too much effort.
Stigma: What brought about this side of them (childhood, curiosity, etc)?
I have no idea. He likely just got curious and that spiraled out of control.
Tears: How do they feel about seeing their darling scream, cry, and/or isolate themselves?
He does his best to break down your wall and get into your good graces. He also recognizes how it’s a good thing for him to have you on the ropes and easy to manipulate. It, on some level, hurts his heart, but you do it to yourself!
Unique: Would they do anything different from the classic yandere?
Uh… he has voodoo? That is a glaring difference to me.
Vice: What weakness can their darling exploit in order to escape?
I have no idea. His black magic always has an eye on you.
Wit’s end: Would they ever hurt their darling?
Yeah, he may hurt you if it gets you to behave. It would be an absolute last result but he might. Or he may do some body horror and turn you into some kind of animal.
Xoanon: How much would they revere or worship their darling? To what lengths would they go to win their darling over?
I think he holds you in high regard. He likes you well enough to and that is an achievement in itself. He doesn’t worship you, per se, but he does respect you.
Yearn: How long do they pine after their darling before they snap?
He can go a long time; it all depends on your personality, what stage of his life he’s in, and how close you already are. I say the longest you have is 2-4 years.
Zenith: Would they ever break their darling?
Yes, but it would be an accident. He’s not doing a lobotomy or anything.
