College will be there when you’re ready.

It’s not going anywhere. And it is absolutely okay if you’re never ready, or you find out that you don’t need it, or you just would rather not go. Don’t let people make you feel bad for needing more time, or just not going, or not going back.

As a community college student who’s transferring to a four year after this semester I have to tell you all to seriously consider going to community college before state school or private university. It’s cheaper and your education isn’t going to be less than what you would get at a four year

Listen. I won’t say college is pointless because in this day and age employers are looking for a degree of some kind even for the jobs that don’t need it or even relate to it. But from somebody who went to a four year college, had to change majors because my initial major got dropped from the school, is now working in a field totally unrelated to what I got my degree and minors in, and is in quite some debt… Going to community college (to try it out, get an associates, take a year, learn a trade, etc.) is a great option. Don’t let anyone give you shit.
