Okay, just watched the trailer for the new show with Mr Puzzles and i'm pretty excited, it was very cool seeing puzzles now professionally aminated with fluid movements that remind me of the og smg4 puzzlevision movie trailer. Them regressing his character back to being villainous again initially annoyed me, but firstly it obvs that had to seperate this show from smg4 and deviate so new fans could get into it, it makes a 100% sense and it's the right choice, and secondly, i think they wont completely regress him back to his puzzlevision self, i think he'll be a nice mix of his egomaniac, eccentric self from that movie whilst still retaining some of the lessons he learned thanks to Wpnz and toomp by the end of wotfi 2025. Oh, and speaking of Mr Wpnz...
While theres always a chance they mayve completely cut or just killed off Mr Wpnz so he wont be making a return for this new spinoff (perhaps due to a mix of him being less popular, his va being harder to get back for a reprise of this character, or maybe just a general lack of ideas of where to take his story) but since there isnt any confirmation of this, id like to propose a theory or two for what his disappearance could mean for the story.
The first moments of the trailer show puzzles being sent through the same rift from wotfi 25 moments after it closed. That means something similar mustve happened to wpnz cuz he was with him, but we never end up seeing him in that scene, cuz it flashforwards to a living room in a new setting, with puzzles having a mental breakdown/laughing to himself, as hes now returned to being sombr and lonely like how he was after the meme factory arc after he initially lost Leggy. Whatever dimension puzzles mustve been sent to, Wpnz must've not gone to, soooo what if they were seperated in the rift amd sent to different places, leading to this regression of Puzzles character due to him losing the one true friend and partner in crime he had who was willing to sacrifice himself to help him out? Maybe that's what leads to Puzzles... y'know, CALLING ALL THE VILLAINS... so he can create his own group of bad guys to take over the world together so he wont be on his own again, awww🥹.
If Wpnz' character was just simply killed off, id be pretty disappointed as in the og SMG4 series, he really was the one (besides meggy to a degree) to really break down and help progress Mr Puzzle during his final story arcs so he can actually realise the importance of friendship and self improvement, so him being brushed off without even getting some further backstory into his hitman life pre-karen would feel like a missed opportunity imo. If he survived like puzzles but was just sent somewhere else, imagine the emotional weight and climax of Puzzles reunited with him later into the show during a tense moment, maybe as a dramatic cliffhanger or something (perhaps in a scene calling back to the end of slience of the cats between them teehee) - after years of survivors guilt, believing his partner in crime had died for him and was lost forever in the void somewhere due to Puzzle's own grave mistake to mess around with that remote, he finally gets to meet with him and possibly live the adrenaline filled dramatic life of crime they dreamed of, or maybe they've built their own lives in their respective universes that they have to go their own seperate ways?😢
Sorry for the long as hell ramble of this, this trailer keeps the story completely secret yet i still couldnt help but waffle so much about some theories and stuff, i wish ZAMination all the best with creating this show regardless if my theories are right or completely wrong lol, cant wait to see whats next for Mr Puzzles now!!! I thought this day would never come 🥳
