I keep seeing ppl so clearly getting their lore from secondary sources (which will ommit things, have bias, and be inaccurate) and I realized not everyone actually knows where to find primary sources so here yall go!

I feel like a lot of people go into gorillaz and don't actually engage with the lore fully that's why I'm making this post. Because while convoluted the lore is a lot more interesting and well written than could ever be fit into an 1hr summary video and I feel like people are losing out by not actually engaging with it. Also I'm passionate about the academic method and rule number one is that SECONDARY SOURCES LIE. A secondary source is not reliable and I have seen misinformation perpetuated through them multiple times. So read! The real gorillaz is fun! And don't listen to abridged radio shows. Gorillaz was intended to platform small creators who aren't getting the respect they deserve so that's where the radio shows come in they're ways of platforming genuinely good music in a landscape which may overlook them. I'm gonna be salty for a sec abridged radio shows miss the entire point of gorillaz 💔💔. Anyways I'm begging yall to not just tag this #resource and move on with your day actually read this stuff.
