Heya Bluet! I've got a question about AETYKM if you'll have me :3 This is a thing I noticed when re-reading it and I got curious enough to ask! So, when Grian's giving the watchers a rundown of Scar in chapter 18, I noticed a couple things and because of my ability to think anything to be intentional/lore relevant, I wanted to ask! First is that Grian mentions nothing to them about Scar's leg! I would assume this is something he should want to tell them since it's a potential weakness. Thinking that, did Grian specifically leave it out as an attempt to do what he could to protect Scar? Or was it just not mentioned? Second is Scar's apartment number! Grian says he lives in apartment 302, wheras in chapter 6, Scar mentions his apartment number is 401. This could very well just be a mistake (and no judgement if it is!! Tiny mistakes are irrelevant in a story as amazing as yours!) or it could be another tiny hint of Grian trying to protect Scar as best as he can given the circumstances (by lying to the watchers! Let's go Grian!). If these are nothing important, then it doesn't really matter, but they could be so I wanna ask! (Or they could be .+*unintentional additions*+. the best kind of story addition!) P.S I am SO happy you're making a sequel to this story!! I genuinely could not stop smiling or squealing !hen I found out! (After despairing about Grian and Scar once again being put through The Horrors) Have an awesome day!

Ahhhh hi yes hello!! Thanks for the questions, youre always welcome!!

The answer to these is a large mix of "yes and no" haha. Grian is notoriously an unreliable narrator in aetykm, so in many chapters, his thought process is intentionally left out or skewed based on his worldview. This can make it seem like I forgot details when I actually didn't.

However! That being said, Grian not mentioning Scar's leg is definitely partly due to me not thinking about it that much 😭😭 I do believe that even if I had deliberately mulled over that detail, it likely would have still been left out of Grian’s report because he wanted to protect Scar as much as he could. Even if the Watcher's did eventually find out about the leg, they wouldn't be able to prove that Grian intentionally hid that information from them, so he would feel better not reporting it. Plus, in his captivity, he also doesn't mention it, which is more intentional on my part.

As for the apartment numbers, that's genuinely just an honest mistake. When I choose apartment/house numbers for fics, I almost always do so completely randomly, so it seems I just forgot what I had chosen LOL. Unlike with Scar's leg, this is something that Grian would have absolutely reported correctly because that misinformation could easily lead to more punishment for him. The Watchers would be able to tell if he had intentionally lied to them about that. I'll probably go back and fix this mistake, actually.

Anyways!! Thanks again for the questions, they're very neat!! Mostly I just forgot to add those details haha, but the first one fits very well in the story, so I won't be adding it. As for the house numbers....those will be changed LOL.
