@bluriginals
i think we are long overdue for a game that does the reverse of 90s first person shooters and actively makes fun of the player for picking the hard difficulty
heres kinda what i mean
Tink~
watching the among us show, but only one or two episodes a day to fill the void infinity train left in my heart
mighty cuphead adventure reminds me that in an ideal world we'd be able to easily develop for older hardware the same way a painter might choose to use acrylics or watercolor or digital. being able to imitate the attributes of past generations on modern hardware is cool and the economical way to go of course. but how cool is it to say "oh i'm making a sega master system game in 2027", you know?
we’re like a superfandom
we need a name
so, is this like the animated equivalent of Superavengewholock
Rise of The Brave Tangled Dragons…?

the problem with trying to segue from arcane to the original league lore is that from what i've gathered most of the characters used in arcane aren't even the good ones. they're like the c/d-tiers who got elevated in adaptation. like im fully expecting that if i were to read ekko or singed's stuff i'd be at risk of forming more investment in league. but if go read jinx's original lore it'll be like "yup, that sure is a character who is also in the video game"
many are doing this
the coolest bit of world building owl house ever did was that one line in the season 2 premiere where eda talks about having to get specific food for luz because her stomach isn't used to the meals they regularly eat on the boiling isles
yearly character evolution!!
saw a fun drawing prompt a couple of years ago with a simple premise: pick one of your characters and draw their face once a year on the same sheet of paper and watch how they evolve. thought i'd take a crack at it! not much change yet, but there's still a lot of space left on this page so we'll see how it goes in the next few years!
the original piece that inspired me, in case anyone knows who made it...
Unfortunately, I didn’t recognize my sister today.
Her face looked smaller, her eyes too tired to focus, like the person I know is slowly disappearing in front of me.
Today, we rushed her to the hospital because of severe anemia and her condition worsening, and I had no choice but to give her expired medicine because I cannot afford proper treatment.
I beg you, as someone watching my sister suffer without being able to help her. Please, don’t leave us like this—donate now and help me save my sister.
donate share and support in whichever ways you can Ronza and her family desperately need help
Made this guy from my favorite Gerard Donelan comic
not so pro tip: draw ur characters on anything you can get ur hands on actually
a creative having the desire to come back and reiterate on their finished work after 5, 10, or 20 years could be a fascinating, introspective, and fun thing but unfortunately that aspect of the subgenre is almost entirely subsumed by the need To Sell Toys and jiggle keys. alas.
sometimes you'll be watching an early simpsons episode and yeardley smith will make lisa sound like the sweetest girl in the whole wide world
every day i feel like im closer to knowing exactly how gwen stacey (tasm) feels all the time
