My girl. I love her for doing GRAMMY winning Mean about someone critiquing her GRAMMY performance. Icon.

That performance of her going for it in the rain is honestly stuck in my head and honestly, it’s earned its rent.
93. Tell Me Why
Those violins. Enough said.

This song is just the one for me. It gets my attention from the first two lines and the catchy chorus keeps me there and you know what? I’M the lucky one. Boom.

103. Fearless
The country twang of FEARless does it all. This is an iconic song.

A grower on me and every time I listen, it always has different meanings. It’s so beautiful, man.

Like to me this is just the definition of sweet. There’s so much hope and heartbreak in one song and it’s such a compelling balance.
107. I Don’t Wanna Live Forever (featuring ZAYN)
The breathiness, the sexiness, the belt. It’s a post 1989 and pre reputation banger that is such an underrated song.
108. Stay Beautiful
This is stuck in my head because this is an EARWORM, Miss Taylor.
109. The Best Day
Take this away from me so I can cry, please. I can only listen to this if I need a cry. And it does the trick - every time.
110. Better Than Revenge
I know that I’m a feminist and that this is a problematic song but when you’re in the mood - this needs to be scream-shouted.

Damn, she brought yeehaw Taylor to 2021 and I dig.
112. I Forgot That You Existed
Damn girl, when I get to this level I’ll be happy. Giggles and all. Great opening transitioning from reputation to Lover.
113. Christmas Tree Farm
The run at the beginning. The sleigh bells. The vocals. Give me twinkly lights, now!
114. Cold As You
The OG Track Five. Without you, we wouldn’t have the most heartbreaking Taylor songs and honestly, she was the template.
115. Fifteen
WHEN YOU’RE FIFTEEN, AND SOMEBODY TELLS YOU THEY LOVE YOU, YOU’RE GOING TO BELIEVE THEM. Wow. Punch me in the face, thanks.
116. Welcome To New York
Those synths, man. I know this isn’t the most popular but when you’re in the mood for this song - you’re in the mood for the song! Makes me want to walk down 5th Avenue like I’m in the opening montage of The Devil Wears Prada
117. 22
If you didn’t sing this at your 22nd birthday, you don’t have a soul. However, it should be reserved for 22nd birthdays to preserve its reverence.
118. betty
A fan favorite with that sweet, sweet country harmonica but for me, it’s all about the bridge. And YOUR CARDIGAAANNNNNNN.
119. Jump Then Fall
This just bops, man. It hits.
120. Come Back…Be Here

61. I’m Only Me When I’m With You
Cuddles all around, guys! This song makes me so grateful for my life.

Why do I feel like I’m being questioned by the police? How does a song make you feel like that? I don’t understand.
63. Look What You Made Me Do
I can’t believe she came back with this song. Like, what a savvy business move whilst also giving us the CONTENT.
64. mirrorball
This song is my fav but now, thanks to YouTube, I can’t unhear John Mulaney saying ‘hush’ as the chorus starts.
65. Cornelia Street
The acoustic version of this could punch me in the face and honestly I’d thank her.
66. Clean
It’s Time To Go’s older sister who tells her tale of woe openly. God, I love Clean. I love the metaphor, I love the production, I love the poppiness - no wonder everyone loves this song.
67. I Think He Knows
The belt, the belt, the belt, the belt, the belt, what the fuck are you doing Tay, the belt, the belt. Also, the production on this is fucking amazing.

Tay really said ‘Keep away from my man but I’ll let you bop’ and honestly, what a power move.
69. King Of My Heart
TAYLOR. STOP MAKING SONGS WITH BRIDGES THAT CAN’T BE TOPPED BY OTHER PEOPLE. YOU’RE RUINING MY SPOTIFY WRAPPED. STOP IT.
70. seven
The way she elongates her vowels in this song is *chef’s kiss*
71. it’s time to go
This song has given me strength and told me that it’s ok to go. You’re allowed to say no. You’re allowed to leave. It’s okay.
72. The Moment I Knew
Can I give Taylor a cuddle for this song and this song alone?
73. Miss Americana & The Heartbreak Prince
She be a BOP. She do something different. She’s cheering, she’s belting, she’s metaphoring.
74. Marjorie
This feels so visceral and beautiful and familial and raw. The beauty of this is absolutely immense. I cannot deal. Thank you for articulating this, Tay.
75. Teardrops On My Guitar
She’s a bop. She’s a legend. She’s everything. She’s dramatically lying on your bed in a full on prom dress.
76. Last Kiss
A grower on me. I can finally hear the lyrics properly and ouch ouch ouch. So beautiful.
77. Afterglow
This song is so mature and it’s like the glow up of Back To December. Come on girl, we love that honesty for us.
78. Speak Now
How did she write this?! Just a STORY and a HALF.
79. happiness
So desperate and real and hits me in the feels every single time. The allusions to The Great Gatsby are stunning and elevate it to another level.

Another underrated bop about getting some. Holy hell, she can write ‘em.

My god, I love this song. I love the message, I love the strength that it’s given me, I love the double entendres. Everything. It’s a beautiful piece of art and also on that mood board.
38. Today Was A Fairytale
Like many of her songs, this just reminds me of falling in love. The little butterflies that you get and all. However, her storytelling never makes it seem childish or naive, ever.
39. Our Song
Oh my goodness, the only way to play this bop is to play is LOUD. She wrote this ON HER OWN HOLY HELL.
40. You Are In Love
One perfect lyric says it all: “ And you understand now why they lost their minds and fought the wars and why I've spent my whole life tryin' to put it into words.” To me, this is the best and most beautiful lyric this woman has ever produced. Just wow.
41. coney island (feat. The National)
Give me a stormy day and time to ominously walk around Coney Island and I’ll be one happy girl. This song just makes me want more and I can’t explain how well Aaron and Taylor’s vocals go together. It’s pure magic.
42. Getaway Car
That video of Jack and Taylor working on the bridge is so iconic that no wonder I think I’m both Bonnie and Clyde when this song comes on. The power this holds is insane.
43. willow
Go on, girl. Cast a spell on me. I do not mind.

This song is actually breathtaking and that bridge takes me somewhere unbelievable.

One of the most perfect duets to have ever existed. The low notes hit you in places that you didn’t know were a thing and it kind of feels like you were just punched in the face listening to this. It’s that good.

One does not listen to IDSB quietly. One is elevated to another level.

30. Dorothea
Damn, the Oo-oohs hit something in me. This song makes me want to run away and pretend the world doesn’t exist. It also makes me want to have a good old Nashville duet for some reason.

Just. The most stunning book I’ve ever read. Poetically entrancing.
I wish I wasn’t needy needy I wish I didn’t need you you I wish I don’t stare like a lunatic holding my breath for you you. I wish I wasn’t panicked to talk to you you and I wish it all worked out but we all know I’m a coward who is incapable of love now. I never learnt to do it and I never will so I will remain an emotionless shell begging for love love love. If you read this you would run away just as you ran away from me today. And all of this may be nothing and all of this may be everything but I don’t know what to do. I want you you. I wish I wasn’t needy needy. I wish you could see me see me.
A stack of bones and perfume obsessed with ideas in its abstract.
How could I love when I fall in love with the concept?
Love is not tangible or real or true or earthly because it simply cannot be. It is in my head and dancing amongst the stars.
Then the idea ends and the next one dances amongst the galaxies.
I beg you.
Don’t let me ruin you.
My thoughts burn in the stardust and could never support you. Could never hold your light and keep it safe. I will scorch you with the idea of you. Of what you should be.
This stone in my stomach that ripples out, that hits me in the jaw when I thought it wasn’t going to. How can I be rid of you? What motivational words, what antidote, what therapy can I bestow upon myself to not carry you inside me.
