Ah. Seems like the new guy had it rough. Though they all technically did, some just went through more before coming here. Which was always rough. It was no competition. Dexter hated showing pity, sometimes the other’s don’t like it. Empathy certainly didn’t.
“Understood.” he nodded, patting the other’s back gently. “I think you and Eeyore will find some comfort with each other. Same with Trigger. You three might get along better since your cases are similar. But hey, your in one of the best places around, buddy. Seriously we’re treated so good in here.”
He was glad Visionary hadn’t pushed it or asked more questions. People liked to do that sometimes; poke and prod and ask him questions about personal things. It was rather draining.
He nodded softly as the other man spoke. He was happy to hear there were other people with similar experiences. He hoped to meet them soon.
“Yeah, my therapist said this was one of the best hospitals around. Glad to know that wasn’t bullshit.” He smiled and looked up at the other man.
